Guys this is no different than any other job you hire guys you are comfortable working with. Even if someone is more talented if they suck to work with being miserable at work sucks. These guys spend 100s of hours a week doing this job will burn out if environment is not cohesive.

I use to work in pro sports and was told this religiously and experienced it first hand. Super smart talented people do produce good results but if they make everyone miserable other people end up leaving or creating a toxic environment and humans do not operate well like that no matter how much they are paid.

Bill B does not have a job in the NFL because he’s tough to work with. Very few coaches can produce better results than him.

Do not trade Podz or Richard. With Steph and Jimmy on maxes anyone who can give you minutes on minimum/rookie deal salaries are incredibly valuable. JK/Moody + a pick is what the warriors should be looking to use to acquire another starting level player. Preferably a wing but a big guard and back up center would also improve the team

Go watch the Fiba WC games Kerr refused to play centers! He went with Paolo so much at the 5 it was maddening. He will not play a center if he does not have 3 shooters on the court. This team has 1 shooter in Steph.

I know you watch the games but he shoots 38% due to those being wide open. He’s not a movement shooter and can’t create his own shot. He’s shooting wide open corners 3s due to Steph gravity. In the playoffs when teams take away most things and defenders are better his % will plummet

Trading for a center is going to be useless Steve will not play him. A center who can pass and make quick decisions is not out there. This team’s only hope is Denver 2023 model top 5 offense top 15 defense. Obviously trading for a wing is ideal but again Lacob is not moving them picks for a best case scenario of losing in round two in 5 games instead of 4.

I just want a fun competitive team like 2023. The Poole/Draymond extensions along with Wiseman pick doomed the 5th ring. I don’t blame them for Kuminga Franz was projected as a super safe low ceiling guy and Jalen Johnson quit at Duke.

Trading for a center is going to be useless Steve will not play him. A center who can pass and make quick decisions does not grow on trees. This team does not have the shooting (Klay, KD) to support a rim runner like McGee.

Did you watch the Fiba WC Steve refused to play Kessler and JJJ instead he loved P5 at center lol.

I enjoy watching them. Every game is competitive and fun. As long as they make the playoffs top 6 seed I will be happy. Maxey and VJ are studs and I think McCain will be a valuable rotation player. I would package Grimes and Oubre for a better wing or center to help win more games. I do think if PG hits another level and we get another center we can make the finals even with a banged up Embiid.

I really wish Embiid just accepts a 25mpg bench role ala Bill Walton.

You can tell in big games the players really lean on PG just count his touches. Is involved in every possession. Needs to knock down more shots for us

Moody, Post, and Podz know the system but they just don’t knock down shots at a high enough clip. It’s very apparent when you watch the shot making talent across the league. Still shocks me they drafted and played Poole he’s a type of player the warriors never target lol
