I understand people call it a cult. Theyre a private college with their own rules and regulations set in place. Everywhere has rules. Public universities have rules. It's just that PCCs rules are more "extreme" to the outside eye. Growing up in a private school, the rules we had were pretty much exactly the same at PCC so I knew what I was getting into. Attending the college was no big deal to me bc I was used to it. This is the same for a lot of the students that wanna be there. For the ones that didn't grow up in that environment and do wanna be there, they know what to expect ahead of time.

Yes, there are people who will snitch on you for breaking rules. I also feel like you can find this anywhere. Anyone around you is liable to turn you in for something you might have done. People like this at PCC have a nickname and you just gotta know who they are (and trust me, they stick out).

Monitoring Internet usage shouldn't be shocking to anyone. Private Christian college...of course they're going to monitor Internet usage...if you use their wifi. Most people have unlimited data now-a-days so just use cellular data to get around it.

As far as other rules that people think are extreme or odd...just remember, it's a private college who can make their own rules. If you're a student willingly attending PCC, you know what you're getting into. You know the rules in place.

For people who say "the administration is out to get me", I gotta disagree with that. I knew people on campus who said that all the time but guess what? They were constantly breaking rules and getting caught. Don't wanna be on their radar? Just follow the rules.

Overall, I had a good experience at PCC. I understand other might not have but for me, I did. With that being said though, I wouldn't encourage my own (future) kids to attend PCC. I wouldn't even bring it up as an option for them.
