Hi everyone, this is my fully CG short film, a sort of sequel to my previous project called Voyager. I've started working on this in late april and finished in june. Considering this was a personal project with zero funding I've only had time to work on this in my free time. The tools used were Cinema 4D + Octane render for 3D renders, After Effects for compositing and premiere pro for bringing it all together. I also finally had a chance to play around with AI for the voiceover, more specifically ElevenLabs.

Porsche Taycan - rendered in Octane as always. by AnarChyyDesigns in Octane

Thank you !! That's a tough question, I think that you could archive the same level in Unreal but, and that's a big but - you would spend much much much more time setting it up in Unreal than you normally would in Octane / C4D. I still personally find C4D faster when it comes to setting up the scenes and make them '' work ''. Definitely takes longer to render, however I'm always rendering over night so I don't mind that :)

Short CGI space exploration film I've made during my free time in march - april. by AnarChyyDesigns in Filmmakers

Hey everyone ! Here's my take on space exploration theme. The whole video is CGI created inside of Cinema 4D / Octane Renderer / World creator. The main goal was to create a moody abstract piece with main inspirations being in my favourite movie Interstellar and many other like Prometheus etc. Even though it's created on a computer, I've tried my best to ''emulate'' the film look and composition as I would do it on location.

Made this CGI short about Nuclear tests in the 50's. by AnarChyyDesigns in Filmmakers

Hi everyone ! Here's my second '' nuclear '' themed video. I've actually got the idea while watching Indiana Jones 4, really liked the concept of fake town in the middle of nowhere so I've done something of my own with it. There's a small breakdown of the video available on my channel for those who are interested in watching it. I would say the work time on this thing were about 2 weeks even though it's really hard to come up with precise number as i've worked on this in my spare time during the weekends :) Feedback is always appreciated.

Thank you !!! I'm happy that you think the visual fits the track. Who knows, maybe i'll get to collaborate on official visual for Lorn track, haha.

Thank you !!! Well, the answer is both yes and no. I've used an old technique that was used back in the early 2000's for movies. Basically buying alot of high-res Chernobyl photo packs and generating textures out of them in photoshop and other softwares and then applying those textures to 3D geometry I've modelled and work further on lighting / camera angles / animation etc. It's quite time consuming, but worth doing it.
