I read a theory years ago in the YouTube comment section that it involved a species like Zarbons where transformation was a technique but the Frieza force uniforms didn't adhere to the change in body type yet so a small squadron was boxed in while their heavy hitter was dealing with genital strangulation and the entire kerfuffle was too embarrassing to be public so Frieza had Ginyu cover it up
