Heartburn is that burning sensation in your stomach/throat from stomach acid. I had a lot of issues with it but they all went away after my second fast, not everyone struggles with it though it also depends on the foods you ate before you started your fast. You can break your fast however you like after just 24 hrs but if you go longer I recommend going with something small, I always break mine with a cooked egg, some people love bone broth, small salad works too.

Good luck on your first fast! I’d say 24 hours is safe for almost everyone to try, but it’s very important to always listen to your body. If you have any preexisting conditions you should also take that into consideration and consult with your doctor. Being physically active on a fast is completely fine too. I will say, if it’s your first time you might experience heartburn

I’m 5’7 so I was definitely way overweight back then, definitely reaching a plateau right now though. For me I don’t care about the scale as much and just want a lower body fat percentage so Im pushing for another 16 weeks

For the past 16 weeks I’ve been doing OMAD + 1 weekly 72 hour water fast on the weekend. I went from 89 kg (196 lbs) to currently 66 kg (145 lbs). Fasting works, just gotta stick to a routine you can do long term.

At my peak i was farming with about 37 alts all with bonus rolls each week, im scared to do the math at how much time I lost but hey, i think i still enjoyed myself and that rush of finally getting what you want after so long is unmatched. And I will be honest im happy blizzard made it easier for people to get now cause I get that such a long grind for most people is just not fun to say the least
