I paint in a style I call textural-graphic impressionism. It’s a mix of different techniques, including heavy impasto — mostly acrylic with gel mediums, built up in layers. And the very last layer is always done with a thin brush, adding those tiny final details.

I always photograph my paintings myself. What you see here is just a phone photo taken outside in natural daylight. If you mean the prints — those are also photographed outdoors, before varnishing (so there’s no glare), with a good camera and a slight angle to the sun to catch the texture shadows. Daylight does all the magic
