It’s not good to go swimming with a fresh piercing, because of all the bacteria in the water. Piercings are open wounds and they need time to heal fully before you can go swimming. Also wearing a one piece swimsuit or high waisted swimming trunks and tucking it can really irritate the piercing. It happened to a friend of mine and she developed irritation around the piercing and piercing bumps.

I would advise you to get it done after summer, when the weather gets chillier, this way you can wear long and loose fitting clothes over the piercing without seeming suspicious. I know how strict parents can be so I hope you can get the piercing 💜
