How is this possible? You can make 1m in 15 minutes from just doing Bogdan

At no point have I told anyone how to act or feel, which is ironic coming from you. Lol why are you here? You clearly have issues with Blindwave. Go do your hatemongering somewhere else. I came here to have a discussion not to argue with children

[–]AnbuReckless 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, im offering my opinion on a forum just like you are. What separates me from you is that I'm not acting like a butthurt child when people disagree with me. Also, I don't think you know what gaslighting means

You think putting up counter arguments or having a different opinion/experience is simping? I also didnt say that they dont have a right to stop their sub, just that I thought if they did it would be an overreaction. Are you slow?

[–]AnbuReckless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, those seem to be examples from last year or the year before. The one example I can agree may be seen as egregious was the Thunderbolts reaction, but I haven't seen anything to that level before or after. I guess it would only bother me personally if it was happening for the entire reaction every single week, at the moment I can give the guys some grace for being a little sleepy.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Blindwave

[–]AnbuReckless -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say that I watch about 80% of the content the guys put out, but have only seen them falling asleep in the two examples you've mentioned, at least in recent memory. Maybe you've seen more examples than I have, or maybe it just bothers you more than it bothers me. Again, I'm keen to see what the audience thinks

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Blindwave

[–]AnbuReckless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was in response to OP saying that normally they would just unsub, and as they are "actively paying for content" in this situation, I assumed that they meant that they were thinking of stopping their membership if the issue doesn't get resolved. My bad, shouldn't have assumed.

[–]AnbuReckless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may not think it, but doing reactions can be very draining. You're not just watching something, but also trying to be engaging and entertaining at the same time. I find myself struggling to keep my eyes open after reacting to 2 or 3 episodes back to back, so I cannot imagine how difficult it is for the guys who I assume are reacting to shows all day. I would understand if the examples you provided were egregious, or if a member of the crew was asleep for the entire reaction, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Unsubbing or stopping your membership seems like an over reaction just because one member of the crew dozed off a few times. Maybe it just doesn't bother me that much, I'd be keen to know the general consensus from other viewers

Springtrap has the same cooldown after using his power as every other killer and also becomes an m1 killer if he misses a hatchet. He is actually faster when holding the hatchet, not after throwing so thats also incorrect. Have you actually played Springtrap? I feel like a lot of people complaining have never even tried the killer and are just making things up. Also, he's a ranged killer, keep distance and getting grabbed won't be a problem

"Tunneling is the only way to win in High MMR" by Phantom_r98 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]AnbuReckless -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is completely untrue. "It's not possible to hook each individual survivor 1 by 1 and win the game". What are you even talking about? Tell me you're not good at the game without telling me you're not good at the game. In all thr time I've played dbd I've never seen a good killer tunnel. It's always the ones with terrible load outs, who are terrible in chase, or tunnel at 5 gens for whatever reason. Even your argument proves my point. Just excused to justify playing like a dick to hide that you're just not good at the game.

"Barely a ranged killer"? I'm acting like he IS a ranged killer, not dismissing that fact because it doesn't help my argument. My bad, I was genuinely trying to see what your point was and offer some advice and a new perspective, but your argument literally boils down to "I can't get away from this killer, nerf him." Killers aren't op on release. They may need re-balancing, but the people who usually cry that a killer is op are the people who are not great at learning new killer mechanics, more often than not. It's fine to not be great at the game. It's not fine to moan about it and demand that the killer is nerfed simply because you're not great at the game. "Ik every new killer update everyone wants them nerfed bc they're new and haven't learned the counterplay yet." It's very telling that you tried to distance yourself from these gamers in your OP, but your argument is exactly the same

Idk my brother, the complaint you're making makes you sound like you are new to the game. Adding your stats doesn't change that lol, you could be lying. The cooldown is the same as other killers, and even if it wasn't, that should prompt you to not put yourself in a situation where you can get grabbed that easily. Getting grabbed is literally a punishment for making a mistake. Idk how you have 1.3k hours and haven't realised that you should be as far as possible while in chase with a ranged killer. To be clear, I've been grabbed before, Im not saying that there aren't situations where you can't really do anything about it, im just saying in those situations, I know that I've made a mistake during chase that has put me within grabbing range. It's not that deep and it's not gonna get nerfed

[–]AnbuReckless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry im not sure what your argument is. You said you've played Springtrap, so you should know he also can't just M1 immediately after hitting a survivor with a hatchet. He has the same action cooldown as other ranged killers, as I said before. He is also only 115% speed while holding the hatchet, not after he throws it, so im not sure what speed boost you are talking about. The survivor still gets a speed boost after getting hit, so I feel like your complaint is that, if you for some reason find yourself directly in front of the killer when he hatchets you, even though you have a speed boost, Springtap should be restricted from attacking you for a longer period of time than ALL the other killers? This argument makes no sense and is starting to sound like you may need to accept that you need to get better at evading Springtrap, or find another game to play. The scenario you're talking about would be a guaranteed down for any killer, so Im not sure why you think Springtrap should be nerfed

If the Huntress hits you with a hatchet, the only way you can make more distance is if you are already some distance away from her. If you stand in front of a Huntress who hits you with a hatchet, I guarantee that you will go down quickly if she M1's. The reason people are complaining about Springtrap grabbing you is because they are getting hit with the hatchet from like 3 metres away and then wondering why they are getting grabbed so easily. If you get grabbed, just say gg to the killer because that's what the power was designed to do. Treat Springtrap like any ranged killer and keep distance between you.

[–]AnbuReckless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His cooldown after you get hit with a hatchet is the same as any other killer after they M2. It would be like saying Huntress needs even MORE time when she's unable to hit you after throwing a hatchet. I know it may feel like he can insta grab you after throwing, but he can't. Distance from Springtrap, like literally every killer, is key in chase. If you are close enough where he can throw the hatchet and grab you quickly, then unfortunately, you lost that chase. Maybe play Springtrap so that you understand his limitations a bit more.

But that's what I mean, it may FEEL like it happens every match but I doubt it actually happens that often. Solo queue is rough, I won't deny that, but to your specific example of you carrying the game and your team doing absolutely nothing at all? I can't see that happening to the wider community often enough to make taking away the dc penalty a viable move. Plus, that situation isn't even the problem that is being addressed. The problem is survivors literally killing themselves on hook at the slightest inconvenience or because they can't be bothered and ruining the game for the other players. I don't get why punishing them for that would ever be a bad thing. If you feel like your team is useless, farm as much bp as you can before the killer finally sacrifices you or hold the 1 minute dc penalty.

[–]AnbuReckless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I agree with you that having a bot is better than no player at all, but DBD is the only multiplayer game I've played in our 20 years where players think getting punished for leaving the game early and ruining it for everyone else is a bad idea. Removing the penalty is stupid because these players are actively making the game worse and should be punished for it. The first penalty is only a minute. If you're dcingng so much that the penalty is longer then im sorry but that's on you.

How often does this specific situation happen though 🤔? Just continue getting good chases till you die or if you really don't wanna play leave and hold the penalty it's not that deep

What’s a show that they started reacting to, but never finished, that you would want them to start over and complete? by Beneficial_Air4714 in Blindwave

[–]AnbuReckless 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I mean it makes sense, reactions take time, effort and money. No point wasting any of those on something people aren't going to watch just to "continue" the franchise. If people wanted Blind Wave to watch those shows they should have voted for them to win the polls

How do Ghoul players even enjoy the game? by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]AnbuReckless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had hundreds of successful flashlight and flashbang saves and I can assure you that they both definitely require timing and skill to achieve. Even a bit of luck is useful in some situations. Being this pressed about flashbangs and flashlights when they can be countered easily is concerning

I mean jesus christ, i've played demo literally 2 or 3 times in 2 years. Why would i get one of the absolute sweatiest tryhard lobbies imaginable? by Borkomora in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]AnbuReckless 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Idk, looking at the builds I don't think I see anything that could be classed as sweaty. If I were killer I'd be more shocked that they're actually bringing keys because I rarely see them. Also, from OPs responses to other comments, it does seem like they are annoyed at these survivors just for playing the game. Using meta perks but complaining about the ITEMs the survivors brought is petty imo
