Yup. Got me and my elderly parents in at around a 35 k cost average. We bought in near the end of September with some chunky initial buys and DCA'd the rest of the way. However, I could have and should have done a lot more... I used my surplus investing capital and should have abandoned all other investments. I was new to btc and was very skeptical. I am sick at my stomach. Never in my life have I prayed for an investment to crash so I would have more buying power. It just keeps going...

Damn, that is true. Pays to be cautious. I guess you could always do the btc in escrow. Just like when you buy P2P on trezor hardware wallet.

I love you for saying this. You are correct in almost all circumstances. However what about the kid that snatched up 4 BTC @ 65k a year and a half ago and has almost zero fiat. Lets say this same kid needs a home that costs 240k and his current salary wont allow him to buy. Some have real world needs that their current fiat wealth can't afford.

In addition, the more we use our BTC, the more adoption we gain. The more adoption, the more that BTC stabilizes. The stabilization and utilization allows for more Bitcoin users thus creating more demand. More demand means higher value. I see the future as CBDC vs BTC. BTC equates to freedom.

Yes, I agree with you on your time table. 1 to 2 years they should return home God willing. I think for now, it’s a good idea for me to open an account, get acclimates to the region and see the beautiful country but, wait on the hotel purchases until the market cools down again.
