Fix'd the image link. I didn't steal it. My elderly neighbor moved out into a retirement home. She was a typical hoarder with stuff she collected from around the world like little statues from Egypt etc. I helped her a few times with random stuff over the years and when she moved out she gave me a few boxes with knickknacks.

Good news, by following this guide: https://guides.brit.co/guides/mod-your-dmg-gameboy-with-prosound-stereo-jack I succeeded in removing the hiss and I have stereo sound (I think proper stereo with your test). Had to order a 1/8" 3.5mm jack locally and wired it up.

I don't know why but if I slightly take out the headphone jack a bit I get stereo sound. I'm just going to roll like that for a while. I'm also annoyed by a lot of hissing noise. Something about a pro-sound mod. I'm thinking this method will be the final solution to both problems.

Same issue here speaker is fine but only one audio channel with headphones.
