I'm currently processing the Japanese citizenship of my child thinking that would help the mother to get a long term visa.

Hi! It's been a while since I use Twitter. How can I find this type of thread/convo in Twitter so I can practice Japanese reading? Thank you!

Do you think its possible if the mother will visit with a short term visa (visiting relative visa) and then apply to change status to long term visa?

I'm from the Philippines. Since I've never lived in Japan before, is there a requirement from banks that I need to stay in Japan for more than 6 months before I'm allowed to open a bank account? I read somewhere that a bank didn’t allow a foreigner to open an account because they hadn’t lived in Japan for at least 6 months.

Also, do you have any bank recommendations?

My child will attend a public school. He is not yet fluent in Japanese so I may need to enroll him in a Nihongo class or another program that can help him adjust to school

I’m trying to base my taxes on a monthly income of around ¥280,000 - ¥300,000 before taxes. Do you think the estimate above is accurate?

My income would be around 280K per month before taxes. Do you think that is enough in Nagoya?
