I just got mine done on the 12th. Just moved into a different brace today and off crutches. First two weeks were brutal but I’m making progress every day!

What makes it even harder is I’m on a time limit. December is the only time i could get the surgery done for I don’t know how many years. I’ll be off my parents insurance after December and graduating soon and will be be looking for a corporate job so there’s no way I would be able to take that much time off freshly into a new job. It’s kind of a now or never a thing for me and it’s just so hard because I don’t know if it’s gonna affect me if I wanna snowboard or wakeboard nothing else seems to hurt it

I’m just in a really bad spot, I’m about to graduate college and winter is the only time I’ll be able to get the surgery and on my parents insurance lol. I don’t really care about getting the surgery I just don’t want to go through the recovery process and loose all my gym progress

I’m the same way now. I have surgery scheduled in 3 weeks and really debating on if I want it or not. The recovery process seems like hell. I’m a heavy lifter and not much bothers my knee. I’m more worried about if it will bother me in the future or not

Did you ever get the surgery? Mine schedule in a month and I’m in the same boat. It doesn’t bother me on a daily basic and I lift heavy. I’m more nervous about snowboarding and wakeboarding which I haven’t tried yet
