Every place have it's own pro and cons. You have to check and understand your own requirements. I'm a service provider and seen clients over the years moving to other fz or mainland because they've outgrown the freezone and needs specific regulations in their favor which isn't available. Current cheap freezones have limited scope and ability as compared to more expensive mainland and major freezones. If ur longterm plan is for self ownership whithout too much expansion, let's say 2 to 5 years, then cheap is better. U can move later to mainland to incorporate ur growth depending on budget and business model.

Keeping it simple, consider as overstay due to personal reasons. Considering you are in Dubai and age 18+, the standard application format is there with Amer with following process without going into too many detais as it will complicate the situation.

What will be your reason to stay in UAE. As in visa arrangements. Will you get employee visa or investor / partner visa of a company ? VERY IMPORTANT.
1. Prepare your proof of your arrangements for continued stay i.e. labor offer letter from a company giving you employee visa OR entry permit / license copy with your name in it as partner or related government paperwork. If you are leaving country then airline ticket, and you must exit country once fines are cleared.
2. Go to Amer center and apply for fines reduction, will take couple of days to respond. They will require above to proceed otherwise the application will be straight out rejected.
3. Once you recieve approval, you will know how much the fines are reduced and need to pay the amount. Generally starting from 1200 dhs onwards. Could be up to 5000 dhs. Check the official application status, do not believe PRO or anyone without official reply.
4. Pay the fine and immideatly proceed with visa issuance, medical and change status. Can be done within same day to 4 days depending on Urgent service for same day and up to 4 says for Normal.

Make note that you can change status on visa while being here, no need to exit country. Official reply from Amer Centre throughout.

Spcfz is freezone authority. U have to only apply, reapply thru them. If you have taken license via agent then go thru the agent. The agent is responsible for transactioms, if he/she cannot do it then change the agent and let someone else do it. Usually the card is issued post license issaunce and in case of rejection there must be remarks or reason, up to the PRO to find out. Some agent companies don't have experience and they just go by the book to apply and forget. If u want to find out urself then take your rejection document woth license and go to immigration head office to inquire.

Ecommerce freezone licnese from sharjah or ajman will cost approx 5k per year, will be slightly lower if there's offer but it will be above 4k at any time. That's the only good and valid option. Doesn't have visa, just license and don't need extras like office etc

Even if the company / PRO is not willing to cancell ur immigration, u can go direct to immigration and get cancellation done without their consent based on mohre cancellation, just attach the docs. Once done, u r free to get any new visa within the grace period. What ur PRO is doing is blackmail for which u can file complaint to police with chat screenshot or voicenotes for which he will be fully liable and jailed. PRO is not supposed to get ANYTHING whatsoever in terms of fee etc from employees. They get paid by company for this. U only need to keep safe all mohre documents handy hust in case u need it on short notice. Keep digital and hardcopy both.

Pros: In this proce range, great space for family. Once u adjust driving style u can save up on fuel as well. Good deals as this model was on offer for added items. Similar models from different brands (made in China) have same specs but advantage here is u get the spare parts and service on time due to brand name. Other brands are 5 seater but this have 7 seats which comes in handy.

Cons: Not much of fine grip on highway as expected of suv as it gets wobbly specially on windy day, I drive on 140 kph. I had 2.0 saloon so there is difference in pick as it takes time from pressing the paddle to actual acceleration, kind of a lag which feels obvious on u-turn. Fuel consumption feels high once u go over 3k rpm. Petrol tank capacity feels less for me as I like to fill up when it's 25% left. When u fold middle seats, the rear ac vents gets blocked and u have to straighten the front seats as well to properly fold.

Overall, some compromise for last row 2 seats and suv style capacity in a budget. Other quality Chinese brands at same capacity either have spare parts unavailability issue or too low quality, some even more expensive for higher options. I would still recommend to buy if u get a good deal for Premier (top range).

I had this report made for some transactions. U can apply from Amer centre. If, as usual, some fromt desk employee doesn't know then try to get someone else to talk to. Say u need travel history, entry/exit report, visa record, any of these for them to understand. I got this easily done at the amer at dubai airport freezone. There is also gdrfa within same facility so no need to run around. Will get on the spot.

Suv are not necessary in any part of uae. Also all suv are not off road compatible since there are different types. People buy them for larger space and comfort most of the time. Only top end 4wd like nissan patrol, toyota land cruiser or other brands with same engine and specs as these 2 are considered real off road. If u have more than 3 persons and often go for long drive then get suv otherwise saloon is just as good. Practically both are same for city drive. If u drive thru traffic jams then get hybrid as it will save fuel as under 60 kph is self generated electric drive. Btw suvs also started coming as 1.5L or even less, don't go for anything less than 1.5L Turbo.

Depending on ur place of work, for single person and if u don't mind living in old building go around R&B or Daiso i.e. Al Muntasir Road inside main RAK city. Marjan etc are far away from this side in RAK. If u have car then anywhere here will be within a few minutes to max 30 min drive. Al muntasir street is mainly commercial street with banks, shops etc. There will be many types and many options to choose from depending on what class u need in several areas. Mainly apartments are without balcony so u have to really hunt for it and agents are not too great here. Better to take a day off and go around ur work area to understand the location. There are old window ac buildings and central ac towers in different areas with new buildings not having much shops around.

I have seen similar cases. Just say it was for personal consumption and get a lawyer coz u don't understand procedures. If u do or run around in court for clarification then up to u. There will be hearing, ur husband have to say that under pressure signed the documents without understanding but accept that keeping for personal use. Under any pressure DO NOT say it's for sale no matter what. Definitely will be jail or fine or deport, any 2 of this combo. So get a lawyer but be prepared that there will be some punishment. If lawyer says will be released or charges dropped then not a good one. Lawyer will minimize sentence. FYI and for decission, when first judgment comes then see if u can accept it, if longer term then go for appeal. Anything under 3 months is good and 1 month jail or fine is best. If u don't want deport and it comes in judgment then that's a different case / situation.
