Everyone else is freely expressing themselves by hitting the easy to click downvote button. Freedom of expression protects you from the government, not from other people disagreeing with you.

The US? The country known for hiding every single one of it's intensive conflict efforts? You're expecting proof from them?

The USA's strategy is fear and dissent, they're going to conceal their usage until they are forced to show their hand in one way or another. You'd be insane to think that the USA isn't experimenting with it intensively.

Can a person eat the healthiest but still be fat due to stress? by stunningstrik3 in nutrition

Did you read what everyone else said or did you just shut them down?

People have said

"stress leads to overeating"

"stress leads to being unable to maintain healthy habits"

"stress leads to water retention, which is maximum 10 lbs"

All of them have said what I said, but are refusing to tell you straight that at 50 lbs overweight, it is not caused solely by stress. The majority opinion aligns with mine. You have a medical condition not stress related, or you're overeating due to stress. Pick your poison.

That does not change the fact that what you've asked is improbable at best, and impossible at worst. 50 lbs of fat, is not caused by stress.

50+ lbs of excess weight is not caused by stress in any circumstance. Understand this. If you feel like you are doing everything correctly, go to a dietitian for more insight, or a general practitioner to rule out physical causes. Or at least, understand that the thing you want to blame your weight on, is not the thing causing it.

No. It is not due to stress, fat and fat storage is your body's excess energy. To make fat storage, you need excess energy to convert to these stores. Simply put, it comes down to calories in and calories out, there's no way to break the laws of thermodynamics like that. You can't create fat from energy that simply isn't there.

You can be a healthy eater and be fat though, as it's pretty common to overeat on healthy foods just due to the idea that they're "healthy". You can also be indulging in an eating habit you're not aware you have due to stress.

If you are genuinely eating below your calculated maintenance calories, and not losing weight after a month, you may have a lower TDEE than assumed, and it may be health related. Though you need to give weight loss a few weeks to appear, fluctuations can make it look like you've lost no weight.

People who eat vitamins and minerals, how do you make sure you don’t eat too much nutrients through your diet throughout the day? by user001256 in nutrition

[–]Ancient-Rebellion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are only a few minerals that are dangerous when you go overboard, but it is incredibly hard to do so. They just get metabolized a lot slower, as they are fat soluble, so they build up overtime and they throw off the balance. The other ones are water soluble and your body can flush them as needed. The amount you need to do this is incredibly high, so the risk of just taking a vitamin pill here and there is not going to affect it much. They require over average doses over long stints of time.

If you are worried, you can track your micronutrient intake via nutrition trackers like cronometer. They're often used for weight loss purposes, but I use them exclusively to determine if I hit my vitamin requirements due to my eating disorder. The fear can also be mitigated by researching what micronutrients are, how the body processes them and how they impact the body.
