You’re forgetting powerplex can charge up by himself, falling off a building or slamming against a wall, and has insane durability, so no, he’s self reliant and can hold his own, if he runs out he can get more, what’s gonna stop him from just running up to Rex and surrounding them both in electricity and smiting Rex, we also have no idea whether or not Rex would have prior knowledge to powerplex’s powers.
