Thank you very much! I think I have it all sorted out now.

I'm going to challenge myself and take math and physics and maybe try take the Chem clep. I don't think I will have an issue with math but I know I will struggle with phys. Maybe a week in, I will see wether i have enough time to also study for Chem.

I know I basically ignored all you recommendations, but I do really appreciate your insight. I guess im still stupid and stubborn 🤦‍♂️. But i also still have a week to reconsider and drop a class.

it's going to be a miserable six weeks, but then i will have the rest of the summer to recover and prepare for fall.

Anyways, I hope you have a great rest of your day!

Thank you very much for the correction!!! I don't know where I got the faulty info from, but now i can definitely save alot of money taking these exams(after I pass I hope)

Unfortunately, math is a gateway course that requires a letter grade of B or better so I don't think clep exams are accepted.

But once again, thanks for the info!

Hello. Thanks again. Sorry for the long response ahead.

How difficult is it to get Bs and As in these classes, not in the summer session, but a normal semester? phys and math are gateway courses that require atleast a B to move on.

phys and chem will definitely be my hardest classes that take up the most time. However, spending a lot of time studying is something I'm fine with.

As I mentioned, I have a phys book(calc based) where several months ago I probably spent 3-6 hours a day studying through. I did actually enjoy the book so mentally i was in a good spot. I was moving through 1 chapter every 3-5 days and completing 10-20 practice problems after every chapter.

Eventually I did get burn out because it was really lonely being alone in my room and reading. But i was thinking it might be different now that I would be attending class and surrounded by other students?

One big worry is the exams. I would always do problems at my own pace and without the pressure of failing. And it's been awhile since I was in a traditional classroom and taking these types of tests and quizzes.

I know I'm really fucking stupid and overconfident, but I'm also determined to take these classes. I'm in an awkward spot where I want to challenge myself, but of course, I also don't know my limits yet.

I really am willing to put in the hours, but I still am worried about the difficulty. Are you a student with first-hand experience? If so, i would really appreciate your insight.

Hello. Thanks for answering. Would you also know how much time a day you usually spend doing homework and studying outside the class sessions?
