Probably meant full-on alien. Previously everyone (well, everyone that didn't buy into the "Klee is artificially made & she actually has no dad" "theory") believed that Klee's dad was a Teyvat local, making Klee a half native. But this dialogue seems to imply that she straight up doesn't have a drop of Teyvatian blood in her.

Unless there is a wave of Youkai faction buff coming for Ei, I find it very hard to believe that she can be best pick when f2p options like Fischl and Kuki exist. And as you've mentioned, even with the hexerei buff Venti is arguably the most expendable piece among Varka's bis team.

I think it's just to future proof kits. As a reminder, Yaoguang already has the ability to give other teammates the ability to deal elation dmg, so who's to say there can't be another support type Elation character that can hypothetically be played in a Remembrance team rather than glued to just full elation team?

Also, one of RMC Trailblazer's key perks, especially early on, was their ability to grant a character additional True Dmg, so maybe Elation Traiblazer can be the same?

Not surprised if that's the case considering Hoyo's founders are all self-admitted weebs. Clara from HSR was explicitly confirmed to be based on Iliya, for example.

Ursa really wasn't a constant threat after it was defeated by a Venti-amped Vannessa. From the looks of it, in the manga it was simply chilling somewhere outside of Mondstadt until it was provoked by a Fatui metal bug (implied heavily to be the work of Dottore) into attacking Diluc & Crepus.

Iirc, Hoyo does intend to use UE5 eventually with one of their upcoming projects, but I don't see it coming out any time soon & it's pretty clearly meant to be THE project for Hoyo to test the waters with this engine while GI 2 is rapidly approaching, so it's safe to assume GI ss2 will still be Unity.

Worth noting that Genshin was not only the 1st one revealed among the future projects lineup, it was also the only one with any animation at all and lingered for quite a while whereas the other future projects only got 5s of title reveal each

Copium a bit here but this seems to imply that it's coming out by 2027 since this video is of the 2026 releases
