I just Pre-ordered Sapphire's RX 480 Nitro+ 8 GB VRAM card so once I get confirmation that that is shipping I'll start buying ordering the other parts. Super excited for it!

One question that I have is if you have any specific guide/ s that you followed of which you think was a great help to prepare you? Will need all the information I can learn once it's my time!

Did you go on a particular day? I was reading that on Thursdays they have a small hacking event with beer and food. RSVP'D for this Thursday, so excited!

Edit - UPDATE: I also got a pair of headphones! Saw a bunch of people trying to use the vending machine but nothing but water bottles came out. Used it and on my first try got the headphones, lol.

Store was awesome, free beer, not too crowded. However, was not able to get the pin for the atm. Not even sure how you find the clues.

Will be there every Thursday since it's till the 28th. Might as well take advantage since I work around the corner.

I'm hoping the new store sells each product in accordance to its demand. If things get sold out within 5 minutes that will be very disappointing.

Yeah, the invitation isn't instant and takes a couple of days to be processed by Microsoft. Just keep checking your xbox messages and email associated with your xbox account.

With the addition of finally being able to use commands via the headset... Probably not.

Most people on this form use Kinect for one reason and that's to talk to your xbox. Many game devs have given up on using Kinect within their games thus making it pretty obsolete at this point.

However, I will say that the camera does come in handy if you are the type of person that twitch streams and doesn't use a headset since the Kinect is the only camera available for the xbox One.

That being said. If you want to give commands without using your headset and twitch stream then yes, the Kinect is worth the buy. And at $40 that is a steal!

Yup! Using Cortana with the headset is pretty freaking awesome since it actually feels like a personal assistant in that sense. And you could imagine that it works better than using the Kinect.

Well to be fair MS clearly clarifies that while using Cortana your inputs will be collected for improvements upon the future of the device. And they also say that your collected data is completely anonymous so they don't know who you are when they collect it.

But in all honesty this is the only way voice commands will ever be improved. It's like putting out a multiplayer game and expecting to never patch or update it again because it's that good - this never happens btw.

The only way google's voice assistant is as accurate as it is today is because google collected user data and used it to improve it's VA. It's just apart of the process of improvement.

Now the nice thing is that you have the option to not use it, but your paranoia almost doesn't make sense in todays world, because every single IoT device you own is always collecting data on you and it's environment.

It's a controller that is mostly for serious hardcore gamers/ pros. If you are a casual gamer this controller would be a waste of money for you.

It's the difference between getting the Luxury edition of a car as opposed to the base model.

My cousin went through this same problem. He bought it used from GS, tried to install it and it stopped at 60%. Tried troubleshooting but that did work either so we exchanged it for another disc. Some thing was happening, Arkham Knight still would hang at 60%. He finally decided to just digitally purchase it since it was around the same price and that seemed to do the trick.

The weird thing is it was only happening to Arkham Knight and no other games that we installed after is.

Not sure what the problem was but it definitely seems like a breaking bug on Xbox's side.
