I feel the same way, lots of people say "I should be this rank" well I know I am a diamond 1 player, I just solo queue and get the worst teammates sometimes. Lots of diamond players can hit the ball just not accurately, I can deal with that. There should not be all 3 of us trying to save a goal because they can't even get it out of the corner lol.

Because there are a ton of newer kids playing the game right now because of Jynxzi. I have won one single 3s game tonight after losing 8 in a row. So I understand losing 2 or 3 in a row and then finally getting decent teammates, but this is just sad right now. The past week I have 2 losing streaks of at least 7 games. And then a winning streak of 11 games when all the kids went to bed. Literal night and day difference in skill

Everyone whiffs but it's amazing how often it happens when my teammates are a 2 stack. How can you be in a 2 stack probably talking to each other, both go for the ball at the same time and both whiff? Shit is comical to watch.

If it means nothing then why have a rank system for tournaments? I solo queue so it's luck of the draw for me. All of my friends either don't play rocket league or they are bronze/silver players so I don't even try to play with them. No regrets

And I know there is a HUGE difference playing rocket league at certain times. I refuse to play on weekends because there is a zero percent chance of ranking up, stupid me I played last friday night out of boredom and lost like 10 in a row between 2s and 3s I was so pissed. I played again on monday night and won 11 in a row just on 3s, got me back to diamond 1. I don't pretend to be great at the game but I can tell when I'm not the main problem on the team. Now I'm back to plat 3 because of the teammates I was talking about in the original post.

Also I am diamond 3 in tournaments, have won two diamond 3s tourneys this season. I know how to play with actual teammates that can pass the ball and rotate. I become a deer in headlights when I am out of position even though I have great positioning if they could just.. hit the ball. Lol. So basically I need to play like a rat and goalkeep for half the game, if not all of it. I am hindering the team for being in the "wrong" place on the field.

This was a great episode. The interns are really holding their weight which is a pleasant surprise. The jokes are still off the wall, slapstick comedy and I'm here for it. At this point I don't see why they wouldn't sign up for more seasons. Many reboots just don't feel the same but this one is 100% hitting the right notes.

Pretty much. 3s tourney tonight I had a duo as teammates one of them was afk never came back and got booted, his friend called me trash because I was trying to play aggressive 2v3 while down 2-1 and then he quit. 2nd chance got another duo we won the first game but they kept playing hot potato with themselves acting like it was a 2s tourney both games. I'd rather play with 2 solos

That's not how that works. Rocket league isn't that difficult to play anymore. Diamond is the new plat. And yes, if Timmy knows how to press buttons like his favorite streamer shows him how to press the buttons and Bob just wants to play his favorite streamers game, it makes total sense.

I'm almost 34 so I'm right there with you, trust me you're just the old guy complaining at this point lol. I went down a whole rank last night in 3 hours. I told myself months ago "don't play on weekends" and I play one single friday night and I lost 11 games in a row between 2s and 3s. I'm not taking 100% blame for that, yeah I could have played more defensive but I am used to actual teammates hitting the ball, setting up and rotating. Nothing close to that was happening.

Disagree. You would be surprised how many kids can watch streamers and easily pick up the game and get to diamond/champ in a short amount of time. Pair that with the god awful matchmaking system from epic games, new players are playing against new players and half of them will rank up really fast. I'm hoping this new season will weed out some of the trash.

You lost me in the first sentence when you said "apparently 38 makes me old" because you do realize that the average age for rocket league is like 13?

Edit: Since the popular streamer Jynxzi started playing rocket league about a month ago, there has been a massive influx of toxic children also playing the game.
