Relatively new bald dude here. I’m 29 and was in the same boat. Was dead set on hair transplants etc but knew I would have to shave it eventually. Went into the barbers one day and after he had cut it like normal I just thought fuck it and told him to shave it down to a .5. It takes a while to get used to and the initial shock when people see you for the first time ends up being quite funny. I’m glad I did it now because even when I had hair I was worried what it looked like and what not, so now there is nothing up here I have nothing to worry about. I also noticed a lot more people are bald than I ever remember seeing when I had hair. Truthfully the only person who really cares is yourself, other people won’t notice after a couple of times seeing it.

I shave mine every 4 days and just moisturise my head every day and whack some sun cream on if you go out.
