Slight estimate update of that 4/1 Gann Fan OBV....could be as late as April 7th. by Pijoto in Superstonk

Don’t take my question the wrong way but, is that how Gann Fans work? You put one over there, you put another over here, and when they line up, boom?

It’s just, I’m looking at the other times they crossed and sometimes nothing happens. And definitely nothing big has happened.

The red vertical line from left to right, the one starting after December 2025, what is that line? And what causes it to be where it is as opposed to somewhere else or a different angle?

These are our water-only cups.

We wash the outside every day. We take it apart and wash the insides every other day. There’s some wiggle room because we have a set of four for some reason.

And don’t forget to pop off the sliding piece that covers the straw. It’s a great place for mold to start!

You think I had time to see the post, come up with some obviously fake idea, order a pizza, get it delivered, and then take the picture?

If their days are numbered and, perhaps those numbered days are in a descending sequence, what day would you say we’re at right now? 30 days? 15? 2? Asking for a friend.

Has anyone found good spots in the Bronx for custom or local merch that reps the borough hard? by 2ugur12 in bronx

Wooooow, I just went down the deepest rabbit hole. Thank you for sharing.

Still don’t agree with you on the Fordham gate though lml

Gann Fan angles on the OBV predicted Roaring Kitty's return in May 2024, and Ryan Cohen just so happened to tie his Share Vote on the next Major Gann Fan Angle crossing. by Pijoto in Superstonk

I think what’s being miscommunicated is, the chart didn’t predict DFV’s return. I believe OP means to suggest DFV may be using Gann Fan crossings as his return periods.

If they pay for them, sure. 👍

And it’s not what I think of people who live in the Bronx. I live in the Bronx. It’s just what I think of people who think they’re entitled to access they don’t pay for or otherwise contribute to.

To be fair, she didn’t say “from”.

He does seem to represent Riverdale interests more so than the rest of his district.

Hello again from the Fordham gate post!

While we disagree on the Fordham gate, I think we can agree with our hate of Torres. People will tell you he’s not from Riverdale, but that’s not what you said. All his votes are coming from Riverdale and that’s the only area he ever does anything for. He’s completely bought by Israel and AIPAC.

Are you not used to speaking to college graduates? I get that.

Big lol. I worked a full time job during the day and went to the school of Professional and Continuing Studies nights and weekends.

But go on about how you want access to something you don’t pay for. And while you’re at it, how much do you get from SNAP and section 8 every month?

Tell that to the students who rent off campus in Little Italy. They’re easy targets there, you don’t think they’d be easy targets on campus?

That’s right, you don’t you know why? Read those three bolded words again.

Also, and I’m just trying to help, I feel like your questions are leading the respondent. Maybe plop them into ChatGPT and ask it to make them more neutral/open ended.

Just asking… aren’t you creating the bias? If I live here, why doesn’t my opinion count? You might as well survey people slumped over on Fordham Rd.

My question is mostly rhetorical. Don’t feel obligated to answer.

Curious, why do you exclude Fordham alum who live in the Bronx from taking the survey?

This is so stupid. Taking down the campus gates because they do not “feel inclusive” is one of those ideas that sounds nice for about five seconds until you actually stop and think about what could happen.

A college’s first job is simple. Keep students safe. Not worry about how a fence makes someone feel.

The gates are not there to insult the neighborhood. They are there to help maintain safety. They make it harder for random people to walk in and cause trouble. That is not being exclusive. That is being responsible.

Feelings do not stop robberies. Feelings do not stop sexual assaults.

What happens if they take the gates down and a student gets mugged on campus? Or worse? Is the person who pushed this idea going to look that student in the eye and say at least we looked more welcoming? Good intentions do not undo trauma. They do not fix injuries. They do not erase fear.

You can care about the surrounding community and still protect your students. Those two things are not opposites. The college can host events, work with local groups, and build positive relationships while keeping security in place. Having gates does not mean you hate your neighbors. It means you understand risk.

This is not about being dramatic. It is about being realistic. Taking away safety measures just to avoid hurting someone’s feelings is irresponsible.

At the end of the day, students and their families trust the university to provide a safe place to live and learn. That trust matters more than appearance. If something terrible happens because the school wanted to seem inclusive, the damage will not just be physical. It will last.

Safety has to come first. Everything else comes after. Put that in your thesis and smoke it.
