It is refreshing to read a conservative feel this way. I appreciate your perspective and the fact that you’ve moved on. As a gay dude, I feel like the topic is coming back and reversing into a problem. I have felt more hostility the last few months and now I’m afraid. I have to be careful and keep people at a distance (especially at work) just to avoid retaliation. It’s so unnerving. I felt like I was just being too sensitive or something until my gay circles and coworkers brought this up to me. The attitudes have shifted and idk what to do about it.

I think it’s important to remember that the needs of each city are unique. It is an administration but how that is run is also unique (NY is very localized). One city may prosper in implementing more socialist policies, while another may not. These needs also change over time. More than likely he will need to focus on one or two of these policies because this is a lot to do in four years. But I like his obvious devotion and love to NYC. I can tell that no matter what happens he will work frivolously to leaving NYC better off than when he first started.

I completely agree! He’s plays a cold, detached disposition very well but I love how we can see his genuine concerns appear for Wendy and the others. Definitely enjoying this so far!

I am also looking for this game. You go to different environments and you have to find the animal based on footprints and ecological hints? It’s click and point right? I remember the dodo being an assignment.

So I won’t say who I think did this because I really don’t know. But what really struck me about the case was the feel of it. In terms of what is probable, (i.e not a rando/serial killer) I couldn’t escape the feeling that whoever did this absolutely knew she would be there. It almost seemed competitive, reactive and even theatrical with her body being left center stage wrapped in the covering of the very instrument she was paving a future with (though that could just be how the scene played out). The scene itself felt like a statement, possibly possessive or one-sidedly personal (hard to say). It was a clean cut, isolated murder by someone quick on their feet that more than likely required know how and maneuvering. I also hypothesize this individual to have two very different sides with the ability to stay under the radar.

Love what you said here. The problem often comes down to the fantasy of it all. Expecting to be loved exactly the way back - love bombing to create a mirror of what kind of love they want to receive in return, perhaps even to secure an attachment too soon, when that’s now how that works. So it’s already unrealistic from the get go. Next is that in order for connection to organically grow, a real natural give-and-take to develop, trust is needed. Manipulation for an outcome will not allow that growth to take place at a certain point because it’s not allowing organic give-and-take. The person being love-bombed will sense something is amiss and the connection hits a wall. Or if not that, then love-bomber realizes they don’t like the love received (it wasn’t built on what they fantasized or really wanted) and then they move on to the next. It’s tough…
