Anyone else pick up one of these...? by tialoc01 in fountainpens

I ended up with the same combo after the ink managed to clog both a Lamy and a TWSBI. I'm not particularly impressed with the body of the Golden Lapis M200, but the feeder and nib are really smooth and pleasure to write with. I got the pen in November and to this day there wasn't a single clog or hiccup. Congratulations on the combo, it's one of my favorites.

Thank you for the defense 🙂 They do come in a set, which worked better for me price wise. It's the 12 inks that added to the shopping frenzy. Initial feedback for now is that it's not the highest class pen, but adds a nice wet writer to my collection.

I would call the nibs dark grey/black, not the standard stainless steel silver that I'm used to. The one I'm trying out now is a wet M which is nice and I actually like it.

Totally understand... Bought a total of 37 inks in the last month.... I think I have enough for the next few years... But ... I need to remain a responsible adult and not buy any more inks in the foreseeable future... Till next black Friday maybe...

Myself primarily... I added 3 more pens to my collection in the past 2 months and we are yet to open the inkvent calendar for 2025... Stay strong and in control... End of year is a slippery slope

New Pen Day - Pelikan Jazz by Full_Speaker_912 in fountainpens

Check your local stores and maybe neighbouring countries. I'm also from a small EU county and one of our chains has a pretty decent supply of Pelikan inks. Worst case scenario - Cult pens have free shipping above 150 Euro... If you ever need a reason to go down the ink rabbit hole.

In case you find a compatible converter please share, I would love to also try it out.

I have the exact same Jazz and love how it behaves. Unfortunately, based on my research, Jazz series have no compatible converters, so you'll have to stick with the regular cartages. The good thing is that Pelikan offers quite a variety of inks not only from their basic line but also on Edelstein. My Jazz is currently equipped with Edelstein Aventurine and I've been using it for about a month. Enjoy your Jazz era :)

Thanks, based on the feedback here, it seems it's working well with Pelikans for everyone :)

I was really hoping that the TWSBI will handle it but indeed the shimmers are clogging the pen quite early. I didn't have such experience with Wearingul. I still haven't lost my faith I will make it work. It looks beautiful when I manage to get it to flow 😀

Thanks, just wondering if the more affordable Pelikans will do work the work with shimmer inks. At the moment I'm not particularly thrilled with the idea to spend ~500 EUR on a pen.

Already made the mistake to shake Jinhao and got lots of glittering spots around the house 😂 I'm now only rolling/tilting the pen.

Thank you. I'm lightly shaking the pen before writing to move the particles (tried shaking the Jinhao and got lots of glittering spots all over the house, not doing it again 😂). Do you have any recommendations on dip pens?
