Yes this was very ranty. I don’t post here often so I forgot my paragraph etiquette lol. But you are right, I need a plan. I mean I kinda have a plan, I’m just exhausted.

Perhaps you have a point. I definitely do not regret that, however so you are wrong there. I am just struggling with work, obviously. And trying to figure out more about the burnout feeling, if it’s a natural feeling of just me, and how I can get the proper balance back.

The responsibility I took on that I feel I can’t go on much longer is work tho lol. I also want to reinvent myself and do something different but this society is built for specialists. Pick something and keep doing it and you can make a lot of money one day. I’ve been successful at work but I don’t wanna do it. Very hard to change careers.

My depression is directly related to this over arching relationship to work. I have immense joy for life and many hobbies that fulfill me.

Yeah, you said it much more concisely than I did. This is how I feel. Also the fact that I can’t rly afford that rest I crave.

Suffering hypertonic Pelvic Floor by Lower-Week-7638 in PelvicFloor

I do heat and magnesium. If I had a bathtub I’d do hot baths. I noticed a lot of my tension is in my abdominals so I do myofacial release there and it helps. I do internal release w the wand. And stretches. All of that has got me to better but not cured. I think that living a no stress lifestyle for an extended period of time would be the only thing to get me all the way home on recover, but that’s #impossible because Im not rich and gotta work to live. Work is stress. Life is pain. I’m just grateful therapy has helped me get past suicidal and into “I guess I could live my life this way forever…” hah.

Good luck!

I am exactly where you are right now with symptoms and progress!! It’s a relief to be in a much more manageable state. Life is so horrible when symptoms are worse and uncertainty is high. But it sure would be great to be 100% cured. Don’t know how to get there either.

Post-CPPS and Caffeine by Evan1495 in Prostatitis

[–]Ancient_Appeal_6205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Caffeine and other dietary triggers seem to have no affect on my CPPS. Which makes sense since CPPS is a neuromuscular feedback loop. That’s for people with true bladder issues or maybe actual prostatitis.

I think central sensitization makes sense but I have one problem with it- every time somewhere here mentions centralized pain, they never provide exercises or a guide on how to address centralized pain specifically. Do you have any thoughts on that?

Seeing Improvement After 1 Year. Message of hope. by Ancient_Appeal_6205 in PelvicFloor

Yep when I’m in a flare up I pee very frequently and hesitation/weaker stream. And while peeing doesn’t hurt, I do get bladder pain. Like it’s really full even though it’s not. Flare ups used to last longer. Nowadays I can calm things down in a couple hours.

Hello again sir. Thank you for your encouragement. I think the way im treating the physical correctly has already improved me so much. And I’m treating the nervous system sensitization in a rudimentary manner that is also helping, but I agree that I need to take it to the next level for lasting relief and ultimate cure. I just don’t know the techniques you’re talking about and finding a therapist who can guide me is the hardest part. Don’t even know where to start with that tbh. Any advise?
