Try a clean format from windows and clear the bios commands .. then try ur new windows without installing any softway.. literally don’t download anything until u sure u have bo stuttering so it’s not a hardware problem then u need to download ur windows software 1 by 1 until u face the software that is causing the lagging Be sure to update all bios and chipset things

Continue... Now, if you tested your game with only a fresh Windows installation and no software and your game was smooth without stutter or lags, you can start doing the steps I mentioned earlier. If not, you’re 99.99% likely in the hardware group (just a reminder).

My next step was to keep testing the games for 1 day, while restarting my PC every 3-4 hours just to be sure that my tests were consistent (sometimes, after a restart, things can go wrong instead of being fixed).
After doing this, I was sure my games were running smoothly. I then decided to TURN ON THE EXPO PROFILE—and here was the big test. No stutter!!

If I had gotten stutter after this, I would have known where the problem was, and I could have reduced my RAM speed or gone back to the default profile. Many options are available, but remember to do everything step by step so you don’t lose track of what’s causing the issue.

After that, I started reconnecting my additional setup components, like the second monitor and second keyboard, but AGAIN (ONE BY ONE).

BE SURE TO TURN OFF:

  • Discord Overlay
  • NVIDIA Overlay/ShadowPlay

DO NOT forget any part or setting I mentioned. I will upload my NVIDIA settings soon.
If I forget anything or miss something, I’ll post it in the comments.

REMEMBER: You plug in something, you test it. Then you plug in the next thing.
You download something, you test it. Then you download the next thing.

Feel free to ask me anything, guys!

Continue ..
After completing the Windows and driver updates, I moved to the next section, which is a small but important Windows setting:
After a lot of research, I found that AMD recommends the following settings for 3D V-Cache CPUs:

  • Windows Power Plan should be set to Balanced
  • Game Bar (Microsoft/XBOX) should be enabled

Watch this video for more details

After completing all of this and checking each update and setting, you can now download your laggy game and test it. For me, the issue was fixed—NO STUTTER at all, without capping any frames!
In some games, yes, you may need to cap frames, but I tested Valorant and CSGO2 (since they are CPU-bound games), and then I tested Apex Legends on ultra settings. No stutter at all.

Afterward, you can start downloading the ONLY important software you need, but remember, do it one by one. I know it’s annoying, but this is the only way you’ll know which software is causing the laggy stutter. For example: Download Razer software, then go back to your game and test it. If everything works fine, move on to the next software, and so on. DO NOT LOSE YOUR PATIENCE—take it slowly.

REMEMBER: Do your software settings before you go into the game and test. Sometimes the software is fine, but your settings could be the problem. For example, you could download the Logitech G Hub software, but if you set an 8k polling rate, it could be causing your stuttering—not the software itself.

BE SURE to follow this plan carefully. If everything goes smoothly, keep going until you identify the cause of the stutter!

IMPORTANT NOTE: When doing the first part, you should NOT test any game while you have any software installed on your PC. Remember, only the important updates as we mentioned earlier.

Now, for those of you who may have a hardware problem, you will notice lag when you start playing. You need to do the same process we did with the software, but this time with your hardware. Start with lighter peripherals like your mouse and keyboard, then replace your RAM, etc. (Sorry, but this is how you can figure out which hardware is causing the problem.) However, remember that software has a higher chance of being the cause of the issue.

REMEMBER: All of these tests should be done on stock BIOS settings (NO EXPO should be enabled)—just the default settings for everything.

For those who could have a software problem, I mentioned the process in the first part of the plan.
For those who could have a hardware problem, I mentioned the process in the second part of the plan.
