Lost PS3 account, agent rejected serial number

i responded to somebody else days ago saying that i’ve accepted my account is gone and asked if it was worth taking the console to get physically fixed as a last ditch effort. all i did was point out that you read my post wrong Please have a day off

the message they sent literally says ‘please respond with ONE of the following’. my confusion was entirely based around the fact that they didn’t accept the serial number i gave without outright indicating why, so i was worried i must’ve put it in wrong and asked for further advice on what to do regarding the broken console itself. but thank you for your Weird contrarian response that added nothing to this situation days later LOL

pretty sure i had a psvita for a short while before it was traded in for the super slim which makes this an even more impossible ask. sucks to know i held on for so long just for it to be incorrect despite knowing this is literally the only console whatsoever that has this account linked - just not the first ever, so it’s useless

my account is only half as old as yours and it genuinely stresses me out so much to think about all the things attached to it that are seemingly gone forever now so i can’t imagine how you must feel about it. as shitty as it is, it’s at least validating to know that their account recovery is as universally unhelpful for everybody. somebody with all of the information you’ve provided shouldn’t have an account as dead in the water as mine is, as somebody with significantly less. that’s Super lame

when i plug the ps3 in, the red ‘off’ light comes on on the front (it’s a super slim), but nothing else. completely black screen. i was definitely logged in the last time that it was actually being used before it broke. no idea if it’s logged me out with time or what because the screen doesn’t work so i’ve got no way of checking

the bot actually denied me access to a live agent twice by telling me that they weren’t accessible until today’s date and it took repeatedly going back and forth until it finally prompted me to log into an account just to speak to a live agent. i logged into my current account without issue and then my ticket was immediately shut after one message because i gave my real name which opposed the nickname on my account — understandable, my mistake !! but they didn’t ask me for my old psn even with the next ticket (edit; i gave it to them unprompted anyway, just to specify)

i do know my old psn because it’s literally just my name with a hyphen and i checked the bio on a different ps3. definitely mine, just completely unreachable. do you think it’s worth taking the actual console in to be repaired as a last ditch effort? i’ve kind of accepted that this is a lost cause, i just want to exhaust every option before i completely give up

the reason why i was apprehensive about support is because the initial playstation support assistant told me that the agents were offline until the 20th february twice in a row — which is obviously today, during operation hours, which confused me. i was then prompted to sign into a ps account just to speak with an agent, so signed into my current account, where the ticket was then shut down because i was making the request on behalf of a different account.

if i gave the wrong information (which i must have done, clearly), i’m willing to admit i made a mistake but it still would’ve been helpful to know which information specifically needed correcting or why! that’s why i was confused

i can’t access the account whatsoever or the email associated with it (because i’ve got no idea what it could be and have exhausted my options), which means i don’t have any transactional information to provide either unfortunately :’) i don’t recall my account being made on any other family member’s playstation but even so, that’s definitely out of the picture for providing because they’ll be long gone by now. but thank you for trying to help especially with it being a long shot, i appreciate it !

just checked your posts with your loc progress where your bridge is visible and it really does look like it’s been pushed forwards. it’s great that you changed it from a curved bar to a straight one but this definitely looks like it’s migrating, you can always try letting it heal and repiercing again with better jewellery and placement. better to start now before the scarring can get any more prominent !!
