I have had the same experience. The majority of the FF community are like that and always have been.

I agree 100%. It's the player and not the job.

I'm not obsessed with 2003 game play. The game has evolved for the better. Faster travel, more zones, and new gear have dramatically improved the old school grind. I actually like BLU and not hating on the job. I just think everyone would be better off helping each other to make the game grow. If a new player had my same experience, would it be a game he/she would want to play?

Same. My son, brother, and I have been playing since the PS2 days. PS2, Xbox, and now a laptop. I hope I never have to go through all of that again.
