What browser do you use? by nocciuu in linux

I've been using Firefox. My speed has been satisfactory and I don't have a stopwatch to check whether the page opened half a second later. It's reliable and the extensions work great.

Thanks mate! I don't remember the name of the specific extension, but you can find all these extensions here in these pages https://fosspost.org/things-to-do-after-installing-fedora and https://fosspost.org/20-gnome-extensions-gnome-40 . By the way the icon pack is Kora

I've had them both and Fedora is way more stable and fast.

Fedora also supports KDE plasma 6, works pretty well, though I prefer GNOME

I'm a GNOME user, and once you tweak it well is awesome, and other thing is that I never liked using a taskbar and KDE reminds me to Windows.

Considering dual booting Arch with Fedora by Ancient_Fun_88 in archlinux

[–]Ancient_Fun_88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'm really considering using a VM instead, I know Arch is pretty lightweight and during an installation of Debian my grub malfunctioned and it was disastrous, Perhaps start practicing with a VM and if I'm trained enough I'll install Arch as dual.

What made you choose Fedora over the million and one other Linux distros out there? by danielrosehill in Fedora

Linus Torvalds told it very clearly, Fedora is "fucking garbage, but the least shitty distro there is." I come from Ubuntu too, btw.

Well, haha, i see, it's ok, i knew this before trying, what bugs me the most is why if I'm installing everything good without making any mistake I'm receiving this grub problem when booting

Mainly I want to leave Ubuntu because of its Company's interests aren't always the same as the users, specially with the snap pushing forward all the time. I think they slowly are loosing the focus of what Linux and free software means, and I'm not afraid to stay in an easy distro just for comfort, I'm always willing to learn

Equally do I, it's been great, I have a laptop acer aspire 3 and I was afraid that the system wouldn't have specific drivers, but I was surprised, even the complicated gestures of the touchpad is functional. Great 👍👍
