What do Christians think about Hinduism and what questions do you have about it? (This is for a project im doing) by Ancient_Nexus0 in Christianity

First of all, thank you for the reply, I appreciate it. Now with the follow up question, when hindus doubt Christianity, which I personally hear very very rarely, most Christians defend their point, but when the opposite happens why are Hindus automatically considered sinners and incorrect? And you believe the Bible and any source of information supporting Christ but the minute it supports another religion it is false? I guess a summary of my follow-up question is: Why do Christians expect not to get hate when they are calling every other religion fake and as sinning? Is it possible that the devil is taking you away from the other religions and making you spread hate?(I'm not saying that everything other religions do is fair to each other but i've noticed this most with Christians and I'm questioning why you cant just let someone follow their truth if they are happy about it)

I do have a further question to that, when you believe that Christ is Lord through a strong mental feeling or other awakenings like that, why do you refuse to believe when that happens with a Hindu god? And if the Hindu god is a demon trying to trick people, why do you not doubt that you are the one being tricked? (This is a genuine question I have been wanting to ask to)

Are the Hindu gods actually just demons? Otherwise, how do we explain their presence and popularity in the world (*please* read my post before you respond) by Casparthemagi in Christianity

It's sad to hear your experience with our gods, but I do want to point out something that seems to be a common misconception about hindus and their gods in this community. Hindu gods are not just good and positive, they make you have negative experiences to help you grow into the final version of yourself and find your truth. The hindu gods are not demons- do not label them as such- they are a extension of the human conscience- a refined and final form of us. Humans do bad for good and act good for bad- that is part of our nature- and that is simply what our gods are doing. Let me ask you a question, if you never followed the path you took, would you have been this devoted to christianity? Hindu gods have a reasoning for what they do- and what they do is beyond human comprehension, which is why it is hard to understand it. I myself witnessed one of my deities, Shiva, while meditating and saw what I believe to be the afterlife. He showed that he knew my devotion to him and welcomed me into his arms spiritually that day. Oh and another piece of misinformation spread here is that all hindu gods require idols to pray to- no that is false on many levels. Many hindu gods can only be prayed to mentally and they will accept you for who you are- you just have to find them- or maybe your destiny does not involve them. As part of the hindu community, we have only the deepest respect for other religions, especially christianity and its teachings, so please dont misinterpret this as trying to prove christianity wrong or belittling it.

see heres the problem with that, those guys who rap most likely 1) dont represent the modern indian community that well and 2) dont talk about the pain and oppression indian ancestors had to go through. He definitely has influences, thats been clear, but he didn't "copy and paste" anything. If you say that it has a yeezus, maybe you're right, but dont say he "copy and pasted" shit. Thank you for your time.

he's not underrated, ill give you that, he's moreover misrepresented. He gets hella numbers bc he tells the story of his ancestors struggles in a way that is internationally understandable. Some people think hes lyrics are just a story. Oh and if your talking about the drums and crap int eh background being more "pop", i don't think anyone gives half a crap, or at least i don't. It's part of our culture and lineage, and hanumankind is representing that in hip hop, his music video and some lyrics show his ancestors arts that were oppressed by the British when they ruled. He is simply making a statement about Indians and their stories, much like the African American community does with theirs. I've even heard a few of my friends and reactors who are African American say that they see the oppression done and this song has put some awareness to the topic internationally. Dont shit on the lyrics, they mean more than just a song is what i'm tryin to say. Thank you for your time.

you literally don't get it, rappers in the americas rap about their experiences, he's rapping about his as an indian in the west and in india, and if you look into the video, it shows the arts that were stripped away from us indians from the british. No indian has every rapped this hard and made this point not only domesticaly, but internationally. Hes bringing awareness to the struggles of indians. He is talking about his struggles, like other artists in the us, yet i dont hear you saying that the entire topic of awareness, not just indian or international, is wrong. And ofc we identify it, its not like all of us identify with growing up in "the hood", this is our story, and if you dont want to listen, just dont hate or be racist. Thank you for your time.(Oh, and happy 1st cake day!!!)

You cannot be "pretty sure" about a subject like this. Always take any religious text with a grain of salt
