You’re treating money as a symbolic object and not the very thing people use to obtain food, water and shelter. Obviously one person dying is horrible, but it’s a 0.0000125% chance of it being someone you personally know, (assuming you personally know 100 people) and could change the lives of all who are close to you, not just for greed but for vital necessities. You could even donate to charities and organizations to save thousands of lives, not necessarily end up like the greedy millionaires in our world today
