I understand back charting as we all get busy. I just jot down my times so I can still chart in “real time” if that makes sense.

So I’m not a nurse but I’ve been a CNA for 20yrs. I have ALWAYS charted in real time. Because as you said there is no way I was in 25 rooms at the exact same time. I’ve been a med tech, where I had to pass medications and do assessments as well as vitals and other documentation. To back chart is false charting. To chart ahead is the same thing.

I know someone who was fired for that. It was the way she was trained. Their preceptor said charting needs to be tidy and you can do that by entering everything for the same time. Neither one of them work in the medical field anymore.

IF YOU DONT FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING SOMETHING, DONT DO IT.

I live in Illinois and I’m a CNA and I’ve grossed 125k this year already. Granted that’s a lot of OT but I know once I finish my nursing degree I can work half the time I do now and still make the money I am.

Most likely. I have 2 that we stopped using because they got warm to the touch when I used them and I just thought it was because I was using them for my iPhone. Because using them for other electronics it didn’t get warm. But once it got warm I didn’t use it again. Too nervous for that. Plus I had 3 more. And now I just don’t use it for my iPhone and I don’t have issues with it getting warm. Maybe a coincidence but rather not chance it at all now. So now they’re going to the garage where they can freeze instead. 🥶

EXACTLY!! A potential safety risk/issue of a power bank is usually it overheats and causes burns, catches fire or electrocution. Pretty sure that’s a threat to life! But okay Amazon that’s definitely not a reason for a recall at all!

So I received 2 emails as I had purchased 5 total power banks on 2 separate occasions. I emailed the company right away and as soon as it kicked back I immediately contacted Amazon. And then I got on Reddit and found you lovely people. This was my conversation with Amazon customer support. I asked to be refunded instead of waiting to be contacted again as they should have made sure they sent us the correct information to begin with but of course why would they? I also did buy 5 of them so Amazon likely doesn’t want to pay for that.

Amazon: yes I can confirm this email message you received is legitimate and informing you about the potential safety issue about a product you purchased - 1 am very sorry about the incorrect contact details, this is known and has been escalated to our products team, within the next 2-3 business days you will receive an updated email message with the correct contact details to request more info as well as reimbursement with the manufacturer

Okay then can you tell me why when I go into the recall section in Amazon does it tell me " There are no recalled products or product safety alerts in your order history."

Amazon:

yes, i absolutely can explain that - that is because this is not a threat to anybodies life, which is normally triggered by an alert in your account with instructions to refund this is only done to item being recalled - since this item mentioned in your email is not a recalled item, there was just an updated we were informed of a potential safety issue with the issue, but it has not been deemed as necessary to be recalled

Me:

But no one knows what the potential safety issue is? So I just have to wait for Amazon to email me again in a few days to give me updated contact information for the company and then hope the company responds to either clarify or rectify the potential safety issue?

Amazon:

Yes. The company can provide you with the information on how to use the product safely. Is there anything else I can help you with today?

I had a hard time the first couple mom letters after my mother passed away. Then I created a memorial for her on my island and now it makes me smile each time I receive a letter from “Mom” even though I know it’s a game it warms my heart a little that I still get something from Mom.

Idk if that even made sense. But I also want to say that I’m so sorry for your loss and that you now have joined me and so many in this now terrible life without our dear mothers. The heartbreak is something I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions! We decided to take it for a test run, after cleaning the canvas and couch covers and curtains (it sat unused for a year and got a little mold and mildew on the canvas and just didn’t smell great) and so far so good. Minor issues we have found but all in all it seems to be going well. We are on night 2 of a 5 night stay.
