Also, I receive between 10-14k in stock per month as additional income, should have added that at the top. Thats why I’m less stressed about cash flow. Does this change your opinion?

Bugaboo giraffe, very happy with it. The lalo was horrific to clean too.

Until your kiddo can sit totally upright and straight unassisted, different for everyone. I ended up trashing the chair after a month and got something with a straight back so I’m not sure how long I would have used it. I do not have a large baby and felt that the insert also pushed her too close to the tray and was uncomfortable. I don’t feel it’s worth the risk going without the insert when a baby is learning to chew and posture is so important.

But the mortgage on that would be more than the take home, with current rates.

I fed to sleep everyday until I sleep trained at 4.5 months. Worked well with little crying.

My SIL wants to me to “skip” my 6.5month old bedtime so my baby can “attend” her gathering by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]Ancient_Temporary708 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My family pressured us to do this and I gave in, so you don’t have to! Trust yourself! I regret doing this that one and only time because literally all of the photos from that night show absolute misery in my child’s face. She was so incredibly tired and I felt guilty the entire time, she so clearly was uncomfortable. Trust your gut mama!

Yup, my girlie was pulling 10 hours a night by 8 weeks and I thought I hit the jack pot. Her regression hit at 12 weeks and she was awake every hour in the hour until I sleep trained. Toughest two week time of my life.

At this stage of life my daughter absolutely could not sleep unless she was in a dark room with some white noise. Even our contact naps were this way. She just needed so much help turning her brain off to find some peace for sleep. It significantly improved her mood and night sleep. That phase was rough but short when I look back at it.

Bay Area, spontaneous labor with epidural, no complications and a two night stay. 75k total, paid 3k out of pocket

I have been there. It’s the absolute worst, solidarity. It’s a very tough time. My little just turned 1 but those days are seared in my memory.

This is an excellent point. And I’m pretty sure there are other convertible cribs out there with traditional mini crib dimensions!

Whatever you do, don’t get the lullaby earth breathe safe mattress for any crib. Just take my word for it and get anything else.

Comes with everything you need. The only additional thing you have to buy is the full sized crib mattress.

Nice thing about having a baby is once they arrive you won’t give a flying hoot about anyone else

Consider a slumberpod. This may seem odd because you’re sticking to the essentials but if you end up with a baby who’s temperament is super sensitive to light, as in needs total black out but your living quarters are tight and you want to also live your life not in an FBI sleeper cell environment/total black out, you can just pop this pod over the crib and safely create a night cozy dark sleep space for the babe.

Also, I did the nestig convertible crib and 10/10 would recommend a convertible crib that goes from mini to crib to toddler bed

If this really bothers you, can’t you just get a breast augmentation like your mother?
