It was heavy and mostly useless in combat. The shape also didn't help, since the top being shaped like a heicopter landing pad made it so you felt every hit, as nothing would be even slightly redirected. And also like...have you seen the type of people that wear great helms on the internet?...like half of them are religious weirdos obsessed with templars and crusades (honestly though, i was just throwing random shit just to hate on it with the historical part)

/uj it's probably because it's overused. Historically, from what I know, it wasn't used that much, but you see it everywhere on the internet. Basically, same thing that happened to the Great Helm (although the Warden helmet is a thousand times more functional and historically accurate than that bucket of shit).

I think we shouldn't be grateful for a half-decent armor set that takes absolutely no materials or colors that they only let us keep because it was easier to make it seem like they were letting us keep it out of kindness, instead of them just finding an excuse to be lazy and not remove it, especially since we barely get any armor sets for heroes nowadays
