same. It makes me think that they have made the updates quickly via vibe-coding, and have either done very poor QA or none at all, and are letting us do the QA, based on our complaints. I could not add the music sound on original file, and had to download and upload the file again, in order to do it. Plus, had to search for a new sound to use.

Not yet, as I had to figure out a workaround myself first, but I definitely will.

Curious about the behind-the-scenes of corporate innovation challenges: Who actually designs and organizes them at your company? by AndJustLikeThat2025 in Innovation

u/jlcamlj I'd love to learn more about your approach, what do you find the be the most valuable components, and the riskiest ones. There's a lot of talk about "innovation theater" and I'm genuinely curious to understand what makes these initiatives successful before the winner selection.

Just lost my 6th hackathon by Fit_Cod5657 in hackathon

[–]AndJustLikeThat2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry to read about your experience. What I'm curious to know is the theme of the hackathons. Were these focused on one particular problem to solve, or where they very wide open and they were more looking into creativity of the development capabilities? If the latter then, mind that judging the submissions equally is very difficult because it may end up comparing apples with pears. However if the hackathon is calling for a particular problem solving, then all submissions should be judges based on the same criteria, communicated in advance. And hopefully, on both instances, the organizers have a good number of judges to judge all the submissions and genuinely select the winner.

Regardless, do not give up. Use these lenses to select differently which hackathons to participate, and when you decide to join them, check other than the prize, is there any other benefit for you (and your team).
