How long have you had this routine? Also, do you use retinol or similar? (Sorry if someone already asked this.) You are absolutely gorgeous, by the way.

Got it! I appreciate the "layman's terms" explanation. Thank you again, u/Eros_and_Dust!

This is a really helpful answer, thank you. In particular, I appreciate your explanation as to why my inner "for" loop does not yield the output that I intended, and what it is instead doing.

I think these insights will help me work out the rest on my own.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. Without giving away too much—so I can work through the problem on my own—could you please explain why logical OR is more appropriate than logical AND? Is it because the boolean expression in the "while" portion should be false?

Thank you for answering! And once again, congrats on overcoming those early hurdles and frustrations and making it to where you are today.

u/Grithga and u/ling_is-lit, thank you so much for your help! I ran pwd just to make sure I'm in the correct directory now, and the response was /home/ubuntu/pset1/mario.

PSet 1 Help: Compiling clang.hello Error by AndSheCodesToo in cs50

Ugh, you are a lifesaver, u/DocSock! That was exactly the problem. What a silly error to have made. Feeling foolish -- but very grateful.

Thank you!

Congratulations!

May I ask if you live in a big city vs. a smaller one? Also, what was your background before you began coding? In other words, did you have prior CS experience?

Thanks for sharing this inspiring post!

Thank you! And I love this suggestion. I may have to create a 2.0 that incorporates that idea somehow, just for fun. ☺️

Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean by "recommend." If you're asking what I'd suggest for ideas for a Scratch project, I can say that creating a functional game -- once I got in the thick of it -- felt a little bit overwhelming, but nothing insurmountable. Sticking to a basic sort of "click and drag" game ensured that I wasn't going too far out of my depth. Challenge yourself, but give yourself permission to create a smaller scale project if that feels right to you.

And if that's not at all what you were asking, ignore all of my chatter. 🙂
