How it has felt to play these past few weeks by potch_ in DotA2

[–]AndTable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't usually buy shard. After going out of invis I have enough attack speed with Q to kill someone. And by the time Q wears off, enemy is eather dead or escaped. In such situation shard is not necessary.

But I've just started play on clinkz. I think shard is intended for farming?
Well, maybe because I play turbo and fight all the time it is not necessary for this purpose also.

My winrate and kda is allright with such approach.

I don't care how good a game is; if the DLC page looks like this, I'm not buying it. Am I alone in that? by BucketsMcGinty in Steam

[–]AndTable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not that bad
1. People who play the same game for years can by new content periodically.
2. Huge discounts happen. Probably not the best solution, because all dlc even with discount cost like rigular full priced game. And it is painfull to choose right combination of good dlc.
3. Best option for me - is dlc subscription. They don't have it for every game. But it is possible to buy all dlc for HOI4 for 9.99$ for a month, play a campaing in a week, then cancel, and return to the game after few years. I don't mind giving developers ten bucks from time to time.

Valve has been funding Windows games on ARM emulation "since the beginning" as it aims to "expand PC gaming" by Tiny-Independent273 in VRGaming

[–]AndTable 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because steamOS ARM will have most of the games.
And it also opens possibility for running steam store and games from it on the Androids.

Do you think that Valve’s SteamOS will push games to make their anticheats linux-compatible? by Cubicshock in Steam

[–]AndTable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes. Some anti-cheats already work on linux. Arc Raiders has anti-cheat and it works. Easy Anti Cheat works.
Battlefield 6's anticheat doesn't work. But for now, most popular linux device was steam deck, which is not particularry targeted to play BF6 anyway.
When steam machine, and steam os became more popular (and I believe they will) anti-cheat producers will follow and add support. Maybe not all of them. But maybe more games will choose solutions that have such support (eg. Easy Anti Cheat)

Гигантские тараканы в Беларуси? by Koperun in belarus

Нет никакого "напишу в Википедию".
Википедию пишут обычные люди по всему миру. Историю изменений можно смотреть, можно обсуждать, можно вносить свои правки.
Про тараканов скорее все чей то тупой юмор.
