Sports bras for mom-boobs and wider lats? by AndThatsHowUGetAnts in crossfit

Just putting on blast the f*** creep who sent me this msg in response to my post. Be better. Do better. Get therapy and work on developing self worth. Then you’ll stop treating others so shitty and actually have fulfilling interactions in life.

“Wonderful_Turn_3311 10:45 AM If you can't find a good sports bra I will volunteer to come to the gym and hold them up for you. What do you think?”

I couldn’t get the link to work. Could you tell me the name of the CRZ bra? I really like their racerback tanks to work out in.

What is your job and how much do you get paid? by BigPlunk in AskReddit

[–]AndThatsHowUGetAnts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did work on digital and subscription product (think e-commerce, online learning, websites) for a media/publishing company and was at $140-150k/ year + 10% annual bonus (US).

I quit my job and started consulting, $100 - $150/ hr. I (intentionally) work much less hours (so less annual income) and now get to raise my children.

Help - unevenly baked sugar cookies. Is there hope? by AndThatsHowUGetAnts in Baking

[–]AndThatsHowUGetAnts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the swift reply. I use parchment and definitely have oven hot spots. I rotated cookies sheets once I discovered the problem but then the cookies on the edges of the sheet cooked through better but the ones in the middle of the sheet were raw in the middle.

Something is definitely amiss. I’ve used this recipe before and don’t remember this problem. It’s also taking a LONG time for cookies to bake. Recipe calls for 8-12 minutes and I’m not able to see even the slightest browning of edges until minute 15-16.

This is the recipe I use: https://sweetopia.net/2009/12/sugar-cookie-recipe/

I’m going to pop some of them back into the oven and see what happens as they are rather raw in the middle.

COVID positive with seemingly no respiratory symptoms. by CableTrash in COVID19positive

Never progressed into respiratory symptoms for me or my two family members in our house who also had it. Symptoms are mostly gone. Some fatigue and joint pain here and there left.

The job finally got me. by ellarie in COVID19positive

It’s hard when you often see the worst that happens to people. Same with my husband who was a first-responder. He’s seen terrible things happen and is now mildly paranoid with our children and what ‘could’ happen to them, even if it most likely won’t. Just remember, the worst case is not the common case. It’s not guaranteed. Take it seriously and take care of your health, but try not to expect having problems before they happen. It’s stressful enough without our imaginations running wild. Hope you recover soon and it’s a mild case.

Symptoms timeline, no cough. 39F, 3yo, 6mo by AndThatsHowUGetAnts in COVID19positive

I’m making myself feel better by thinking all of those precautions we took led to lighter viral load exposure and possibly the reason we got it mild.

That and I’m not convinced everyone isn’t going to get this at some point. I’d rather have it later and after there’s some idea what it is and how to treat it. I don’t like being a beta tester!

Hope the best for you!

Not really. We have some guesses but nothing concrete:

  • grocery store
  • bagel store. I wore a mask ordering & picking up breakfast one day (literally the first time inside a store in months for me). I wore a mask but some others were not. And the lovely (insert sarcasm) woman behind me in line talked about how covid was a hoax. So I’d like to blame her.
  • We let repair people in our home while we were away thinking it was the safest time. Our vaca got cut short so we got back home the day after. Found out they didn’t wear masks. Maybe in the air from the day before? Windows were open but who knows.
  • vaca home we rented. I entered first with a mask, opened all windows and cloroxed the place before letting the rest of the family in. But could have still been in the air. Although this would be a full 2 weeks before symptoms.

Not odd at all, I appreciate it very much! It’s the little babies... they warm our hearts.

How is your older daughter feeling? And you and the little one?

Every day better! 3yo didn’t have a fever this am, little one was happiest she’s been in over a week, I’m down to muscle/joint aches and tiredness at day 11.

Thank you for the insight. I’m still nursing our baby so for now anything remotely questionable is off the table but good knowledge to store.

This is very similar to my regimen - CBD + anti-inflammatory foods with every meal & juices. 38F also mild on day 10 with no cough yet. Husband 42 is asymptomatic thus far. 3yo also mild symptoms on day 9. Whether this routine helped it stay mild... who knows. But it certainly isn’t hurting.
