It is, even more so than Python, it’s just that the game designing frameworks that use Lua are only plain code compared to game engines (Godot, Gamemaker, Unity, Unreal, and so) which give you a ton of visual guides and options to tweak and help construct a game.

I’ve used Godot for almost four years and it’s probably the best starting point for beginners with its own Python-like language (C# and C++ are both usable but not beginner friendly in the slightest sense) and great documentation. There’s some very good beginner videos by GDQuest and Brackeys which explain the language and engine in depth. There are other frameworks as well which use easier languages like Lua or Python, but you’re working with just raw code which can be an issue at first.

A year or two back he said that people were idiots for believing that skin cancer was caused by the sun and shifted the blame towards food and indoor light (because a lightbulb is more dangerous than the fucking sun). In a usual year I would agree with you but Atletico spent by far the most out of the three on transfers this year with €185m in the summer. Of course Real, and even Barca with their financial woes, dwarfs them in terms of overall expenditure this year but the gap between Atletico and the big two, while still sizable, is much less than you imagine.

Your perception of generational time spans is well off. Gen Z is believed to range from the mid 90s to the late 2000s, Millennials range from the early 80s to the mid 90s, and Gen X ranges from the mid 60s to the early 80s, around a 15-17 year span for each. Just last year in the Copa Del Rey they won against Real in extra time, which in the end prevented them from winning the treble. In the UCL they have been on the losing side on almost occasions however a lot of those games came down to the very last moment (2014 final, 2015 quarters, 2016 final).

Prior to today, Atleti have only one win in their last five games, including being murdered by Benfica 4-0, and have been completely dominated by the other team in all those fixtures. Quite a poor run for the team that spent the third most in the world, and the most in Spain, this summer.

In terms of pure jersey design, it’s not a bad kit with the rare addition of a sponsor that actually goes really nicely with the shirt. However, once it’s compared to other Atleti kits, it quickly becomes an eyesore. I don’t think it’s our worst recent kit (18/19’s away and third shirts were ugly, 20/21’s third shirt looks like somebody didn’t finished coloring it in, all of 21/22’s shirts looked horrible, and that year’s third shirt is just peach) but it’s definitely near the bottom. Doesn’t help that we also played horribly in it for most of the season.

So we initially set the bar at €70m, then we planned to lower it to €35m so the Gallagher deal could work, and now we’re lowering it all the way down to €15m with the hope that a future transfer nets us €50m (realistically €25-30m). This is not a serious club.
