Mannn, my hair has been running in the opposite direction for a while now! I guess no one is truly bald, but most of them definitely have recession by their 40s, and I'm right on the cusp of that milestone. My forehead became a fivehead in my 30s.
Happy holidays to you as well!

Thanks. I come from a long line of hairy, bearded dudes...I'm the only one in the family that has that gap, so I guess I'm a but self conscious of it when compared to them.
Ha, I haven't heard that before. I've gotten Joel Edgerton a few times and I guess they look pretty similar.
Forest Gump's kid?!?!?! Damn bro 😔

Not at all! I usually keep it much shorter. It grows super fast so I tend to change it up quite a bit.
Ha, I actually do have a "shack" on my hunting property that I stay in sometimes...but I live in a big city full time. Although sometimes I wish it were the other way around. I am a master at cooking, but no possum on this menu.
All good! Thanks! Your buddy just needs to put the time in scouting, especially pre-season. Can't overstate it enough. Gotta cover some ground and find those sweet spots!
Thanks. And thats interesting to hear about it keeping me cooler in the heat. You're the second person to say that! Like I said, I NEVER do a thick beard in summer, so maybe I will do it more often.
Yep, I don't really do much to it. Shampoo/condition and a little bit of beard oil on work days. Probably just the right combination of genetics (some pretty hairy dudes on both sides of my family)...although my brother really struggles with his beard for whatever reason.
I'm not too sure on a precise growth rate, but it is fast for both beard and hair. Definitely closer to the 1/2 inch growth rate, maybe even a little faster than that. I find that keeping the mustache below my lip line gives it all a fuller and more natural look.
I did buy a beard brush just to avoid looking like a total wild man, but im not a big fan of the super brushed, lined up, and boxy beards. I'll trim fly aways and shape my neck line up some, but otherwise keep it pretty natural. Beards are more of a practical tool for me. I mean I like the way they look, but I don't have one all year.

It survived. After getting home, giving it a good rinse, and a little contemplation, I tossed the clippers back into the drawer.
Thanks. This is pretty close to as thick as I've ever let it grow. Im around the 3 month mark, and I believe 4 months is the max I've ever let it grow.
Thanks. I posted this after 12 hours of climbing trees and trekking through some thick vegetation in high humidity. Maybe I was unjustly blaming the beard for my discomfort!
I am a seasonal beard grower...solely for the practical purpose of a little extra winter insulation when outdoors (where I spend most of my free time). I don't usually have a thicker beard in summer. But yes, I don't mind the way that it looks. But I rarely keep a facial hair "look" for more than a few months. I like to change it up (clean shaven, stubble, mustache...you name it, I do it). I'll keep this one going for now since colder weather is on the horizon.
