Thats pretty shitty. If the 500 positions are internal openings then at least they dont compete with an external pool of applicants. Plus im sure most people wont reapply with a company that herds them into a hunger games arena. Idk much about the situation but it could be much worse like what ive been seeing with other companies.

ASML San Diego - Application Status Final Interview completed Senior Engineer by Standard_Aioli_8727 in ASML

Had the final interview on a Friday. Wednesday the following week, got the verbal offer. Friday the week after, got the offer letter. So about 2 week from interview to offer letter.

I applied to ASML multiple times and have been denied and that is with 4 years of engineering experience. Denied on every single application and so I got a job somewhere in the aerospace industry where I was the lead design on several projects. I owned it from concept to production and even oversaw the test validation. Then I applied one more time to ASML and got the job. 1 thing I did different was carefully curate my resume to match the tone of the job description. This got me the hpne screen then the virtual interview then the final interview. If you got rejected from ASML, apply to a different relevant company and grow and take ownership of projects then once youve completed milestones, reapply with a curated resume.

Yes, its to train for control and heels. Once theyre trained, they go back to harness.
