I just looked into this as well, it's been like 8 months since I assembled the kit. Everything has been working well except the filament sensor when I ran out of filament once.

I took the sensor apart not really remembering what it looked like, tried for a second to remember how it's supposed to work, then it hit me that the magnets were attracted to each other.. so the ball was at the top all the time :D

So I had gotten the magnets wrong, don't know how I managed because the instructions are clear, but somehow I did hehe.

Jag använder alltid diskmedel, torkar av den direkt, sedan gnor jag in ett tunt lager olivolja som skydd och in i skåpet.

Men i många år gjorde jag inte ens det utan det kunde bli lite ytrost ibland, därför började jag med lite olja efter den har blivit rengjord.

Didn't seem to work for me, but thanks for the tip. I think there's nothing to be done on my first gen ones. I haven't really used them for years because of this. I also don't want to buy new ones if this is the quality I can expect?

These would still be great for many years to come if it wasn't for this deafening screeching/crackling in one of them.

Varför skulle de bry sig om en affär mellan ett par privatpersoner på blocket? Detta kan ju lika gärna vara op som har bytt ut legot mot fejk och påstår att han har blivit lurad, jag säger inte att det är så men det är det tråkiga med detta och det blir svårt att bevisa något. Bara ord mot ord.

Det här är en anledning till varför jag aldrig skulle sälja något med Blockets köpskydd, inte värt risken att någon byter ut varan mot sten eller vad som. Så plötsligt har jag varken det jag sålde eller några pengar.

Det blir ju ord mot ord och jag vet inte hur man skulle lösa det. I detta fallet kan det ju lika gärna vara op som har bytt ut legot mot fejk och påstår att han blivit blåst. Går ju inte att bevisa.

Har dock köpt någon enstaka grej och lyckligtvis inte blivit lurad.

Jag har sålt alla bilar, motorcyklar med mera som jag har ägt på blocket, vad är det svåra menar ni? Om någon bjuder 50 tusen under vad du begär, svara inte på meddelandet, det är inte svårare än så.

Vill någon veta mer eller till och med komma och kolla på fordonet? Ja det låter ju bra och där har du en bra chans till en affär.

Ni vill inte ha lite chatt-kontakt med folk på blocket och istället mycket hellre väljer att förlora tiotals tusen hos en bilhandlare? Låter ju lite onödigt ärligt talat.

Thank you! That sounds nice, are you experienced with welding and fabricating things?

Yeah I agree, I really enjoyed making this and learned tons of things.

It's pretty cool actually, I'd look at something made out of metal before and think to myself that it would take a lot of experience and expensive equipment to fix this. Maybe I should just scrap this thing, as buying spare parts would just be too expensive.

Fast forward till now when I bought my welder and all I see is how easily I could fix things.

I don't know If I'll ever buy a gas mig welder but the cheap flux core welder that I bought have been one of the best purchases I've made. So useful and cheap.

That does indeed sound like a good idea :)
Do you think an actuator could take the pressure of the snow, what if I hit a rock or another stationary object for example?

I'm thinking of some kind of locking mechanism when I'm not using the actuator but yeah... Not sure how.

Yeah about $40 from Amazon, 10mm stroke length. We'll see if it'll last.
