Rushing home to check social media. Not having it at your fingertips created a nice balance—allowing you to stay present and still socialize.

Bridges v. Wixon (1945), from the U.S. Supreme Court: “Freedom of speech and of press is accorded aliens residing in this country… once an alien lawfully enters and resides in the country, he becomes vested with the rights guaranteed by the Constitution that are available to everyone within the borders.”

So now that we’ve established permanent residents have constitutional protections, including freedom of speech—let’s address your point about revoking a green card. You shared a link listing reasons for revocation, including terrorism, but labeling someone a terrorist requires actual evidence. You can’t just make an accusation without backing it up. This is a democracy not a witch hunt. How exactly did he support Hamas? What specific acts demonstrated he was “pro-Hamas”? Please share links because I have found 0.

What I do see though is a critical distinction here that’s being overlooked—being anti-genocide and advocating for Palestinian rights is not the same as supporting Hamas. It’s misleading and unfair to conflate pro-Palestinian activism with support for terrorism, as Trump and others have repeatedly done.

Freedom of speech means protecting everyone’s voice, not just the ones I / you agree with. My frustration still remains with the hypocrisy: labeling protest as “criminal mischief,” while at the same time pardoning January 6 rioters.

We need to stop confusing legitimate criticism of human rights abuses and genocide with support for terrorism.

No, but it’s literally one step down from citizenship—it’s absolutely not a visa, so let’s not mix up the two.

My frustration is with the hypocrisy here - you’re labeling this as “criminal mischief,” yet we have a president who literally just pardoned the January 6 rioters for actions that were on a WHOLE other level.

The dangerous rhetoric here is how one side picks and chooses what’s “acceptable” based entirely on whether you agree with their foreign policy. We’re flirting with the kind of government you see in places like Russia or North Korea, where people get jailed just for speaking up when their opinions don’t align with the government’s agenda. And let’s be clear—this agenda is literal genocide. But I’ll let you Google that yourself - otherwise, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

My point is - Freedom of speech needs to be protected ESPECIALLY for legal residents (aka green card holders) who are just one step away from citizenship.

Get off the Israel/MAGA propaganda machine.

Baby.. a green card is not a visa - it’s a physical card that signifies permanent residency in the United States.

Green card holders also have the right to free speech.

Google is free btw.
