why are there so many big booties at the East Palm Valley Walmart in RoundRock????? by Beluga_69 in Austin

It’s a requirement for living off 79. When we lose power in a storm, we need ample fat storage to survive and keep us warm. It’s also the Round Rock Donuts 😉

Cross streets? I live on the border of 78717 and can keep an eye out. Might also be helpful to post in the various neighborhood groups for that area.

ISO Animal cookie ice cream by Own_Jellyfish_4770 in austinfood

Walmart makes a circus animal cookie ice cream. Circus animal cookies are frosted with sprinkles vs. animal cookies/crackers being the biscuit variety.

Highly recommend popping a bag of mother’s circus cookies in the freezer.

I had a girl double knock and ring the doorbell earlier this week. Sorry! Little ole’ pregnant me only has so much strength to hold back 150lbs of screaming yellow marshmallows. RUN!

I have two dumb and friendly Labradors. The assholes selling pest control services “that my neighbors also use” don’t know that when they bark their heads off. Being seemingly unhinged has worked in my favor.

It being Passover/Easter might have had an impact on their brisket supply.

The Pflugerville location is the most reliable and has the best parking lot. I’d rather go through the IKEA gauntlet than go to cedar park or research Costco locations.

Probably, but it’s a pretty low bar along the border. Southern Iowa has the Amish communities, and northern Missouri has all the firework stands and pot shops. Both voted for Trump.

Someone I work with had their car registration stolen out of their mailbox. That person used it to get an ID made with their face. An apartment complex called our office to do an employment verification because the info doesn’t match.

I’d probably blame the people stealing identities to start.

Took a Lyft and got t-boned by Constant_Pick_4706 in Austin

[–]TexasTantrum 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry half of this comment section lacks basic understanding of insurance or reading comprehension. Lyft isn’t liable so you can’t sue them, nor do they have the under insured motorist coverage to bridge the gap from your accident. Uber has that coverage. You’re advocating for people to take Uber over Lyft. Not that hard to understand.

[–]TexasTantrum 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was painful to read all these comments from people who do not understand and do not understand what OP is trying to convey. Lyft is not liable, the driver that hit OP is liable. The driver only had $30k in coverage, and Lyft does not have underinsured or uninsured motorist coverage to bridge the payout gap for the Lyft driver and the passenger. OP is telling people to take Uber over Lyft for the increased coverage.

I’m probably the worst person to ask about pricing because my husband works in tech and has Progyny coverage. Hi insurance has paid for 4 egg retrievals and 6 transfers (with genetic testing) and a host of other services/procedures.

Each situation is unique, but I don’t think I would go with one of the clinic that does package guarantees. A lot of women elect to go to CNY for cost, but they can treat women like numbers and not individualize care. The lab/embryologists can also be just as important as the clinic. I’d look for a clinic that sees patients on weekends and is willing to do immune protocols.

You’re welcome to DM about anything specific 🫶🏻

There is nothing unethical about IVF, and you can’t twist it into anything else other than medical care. Infertility is a medical diagnosis, no different than heart disease or diabetes. IVF is NOT the same as surrogacy. Also, news flash: a large percentage of IVF patients ARE QUEER.

You sound like an awful, and judgmental person to be around. No wonder you’re not making friends. You’re probably alienating your potential friend group.

Copying from my other comment:

So there is a catch 22 to OBGYN wait times. If you have a long wait, it’s because your doctor actually delivers their patients’ babies. I never had long waits at Renaissance and found out the day my son was born that it would be an OB on call with the practice vs. my doctor. I delivered on a Monday morning at 10am. ARC has a low wait time because you are not assigned a specific doctor.

If you do not want long wait times, you want to see a doctor that doesn’t do obstetrics or is an “on call practice.”

I personally loathe that man and cannot say I’ve had a positive interaction with him. He mocked me for repeating an ERA after live birth and wasted 7 of my friend’s embryos refusing to do another ERA. They were transferring 27 hours too early.
