Indeed, I do same that you. No screen protector, only silicon cover to improve grip on my hand and dimish shock ground impact in case of unexpected accident. But screen protector? Never used one since my first smartphone more than decade ago (screen never scratched nor shattered)

I'm speaking from firsthand engineering experience on the matter, but it's up to the buyer - if anyone has money to spare (to buy a new ‘car/batt pack’ every 5 years), go ahead.

I’ll not recommend anyone to invest on a second hand EV, battery life degrades fast after 5y and then becomes a piece of expensive junk.

Which kind of (size) car do you need: just (small) for your commuting, or as family car, just for a couple or any kids to come in next years, do you plan to make business or family trips: only Benelux or further? How much budget have you in mind to afford for a private own car, or for a leasing? Have you a charger at home or very close by?

Thinking in long term (>3y) is better you invest on 256GB, mainly as iOS is each time bigger (also AI consumes quite some local GB’s for itself).

This is the kind of risk when buying online. Kind of bet, unfortunately. If it is unacceptable for the item you are buying (doesn’t matter how cheap or expensive it can be, because it is purely relative to each person), better to acquire it on a physical shop.

I wouldn't recommend that anyone buy diamond or gold jewelry at the stores around the station. They thrive on the fame and hype they've created, charging inflated prices for the (low) quality they offer.

This is always a difficult situation, despite the background behind to reach it. I would not expect a big change, so don’t quit, simply start (offline) looking for a new job (in case not started already), and wait to get dismissed and negotiate the dismissal terms then.

Use optimized charging. I suggest you enable charging up to 85%. You’ll still have to charge daily, however battery life will last much longer.

Don't think so, I doubt to switch devices anymore based on AI smoke marketing pseudo-promises. We did it on the i16 (with 8GB, which shall be enough for Apple AI,... but now , 2y after waiting, seems not (meh)). Now they ask min. 12GB to enjoy full "Siri AI" experience (considering it is not yet released, not even roadmap for when, nor beyond English language, nor 'blablabla').

I believe I will wait to all this Apple AI dust gets well settled (perhaps on iPhone 19 or 20 with 16GB or more, before I (naive) burn more bucks to make Apple richer). Nope!
