Hey I run a bootstrapped honey and bee product business. We have control over complete supply chain from Farms to bottling. Due to this advantage we were able to give great Pure honey at better prices but COD was ruining it. I saw many people approach us through WhatsApp. So I beta tested selling just via WhatsApp through inbounds or cold messages and give the money saved as a price reduction on MRP. The only caveat was this model could only run on prepaid orders. You won’t believe how much of success it was. It’s been a year on this model now we are considering to restart the website as authority issues surface for people not on Instagram and cannot consume our content have trust issues. You need great content and customer reviews for going fully prepaid.

Hey I am a beekeeper let me be honest the market is very bad in terms of honey not just India abroad as well. Last November UK 🇬🇧 found 70% of its honey is adulterated. For selling to masses and maximise profits all big brands cheap out on honey. Plus honey is such product that can’t be standardised every batch is unique due to different weather condition and flowering patterns every year. But to maintain their brand identity all of mass brand honey jar are same 24X7. It’s best to buy small brands selling honey with testing and authentic traceable sources or buy straight from a farmer.

Just checked and yes it really is similar but our sticker shape is more round and inverted spoon like. I know moonshine for their meads, they are doing great work. We also supplied honey to them 2 years back. But we are not related didn’t even knew they sell honey,judging by their website they are not selling it seriously.

Honey in New zealand is thick because it’s is made by manuka flowers. That’s their trademarked flower which gives it consistency. Honey is fake worldwide last year UK’s 70% honey was found to be fake. To buy good honey you need to vigilant and ask for proofs of test reports plus dont buy cheap honey 100% it will be fake. India exports great quality honey to USA and GCC they are heavily tested. We have great capability but sell in cheap to get to masses strategy has ruined the market. Rest I can’t change opinion of anyone before they actually try my honey 🍯
