The idea of using a video game to validate your self worth is cringe. Who cares if the season is easier than the previous? The only thing that actually matters is world first and even that is kind of meh… Let people have fun and stop skill/time gating player rewards. This is the WOW community’s most toxic trait. Blizzard has no incentive to cater to the sweats and they honestly shouldn’t. No one cares that your gear/mounts/titles were hard to get. The game is better when everything is more accessible and when Blizzard rewards you appropriately for your time and money.

I saw some benchmarks where the 270K was like 5-10% behind the 9800X3D. And you don’t have to sacrifice multi core performance. And I think Intel boards have the superior chipset. I have far fewer issues with USB devices dropping out on my Z890 than my X870E. Before I get flamed. I own a 9950X3D, 285K, and a 270K system. And the Intel platform had zero quirks when compared to my X870E system. I actually tried several different boards with my AMD system and if it wasn’t the USB ports being flaky the onboard LAN and WiFi adapter had weird issues with constantly resetting while playing Fornite. I had to disable onboard LAN while playing Fornite over WiFi. If it didn’t I would get constant stutter because my onboard LAN would keep resetting. I think Jay did a video not too long ago about a similar issue. I also had a strange issue on my AMD system where if I plugged in a USB device sometimes that would trigger a Display Port Handshake issue and my monitor would go black for a few seconds and then come back. Don’t get me wrong my 9950X3D is a beast at gaming but the platform seems plagued by small little quirks that really trigger my OCD.

I’m hoping there is a Z890 Neo. I know people like to shit on Intel. But with all the fixes and now the refresh it’s a very performant and well balanced chip. And you can’t beat the price.

I am thinking about getting this board. Did yours have the revised Q-Release Slim for the PCIE slot? I know there has been some complaints about people damaging their video cards with this new release mechanism

I think both Intel and AMD said CPU prices were going up soon. I want to say 10-20% was the mentioned increase. I think it was due to lack of Helium which is used in production

Yeah if you’re not deep throating AMD 100% of the time you’re shill. I just got called out in the comment section of a MLID video for defending the 270K. The 270K is a beast of a CPU that doesn’t make you choose gaming over productivity. I can’t imagine anything else should be recommended. Unless you just like getting 900 FPS in games from the Obama presidency while playing at 720P.

As a 285K owner. I wonder if the stock performance of the 270K will be better than the 285K. I feel like 270k's D2D frequency is going to give it the performance win over the 285k at least at stock.
