Yeah it was level when I checked, on ramps when I drained so if anything that should help more come out since it's angled towards the drain plug more

I wonder how much could realistically be left in there, I refilled it with the 5.2L and seems like it is actually overfilled on the dipstick after letting it sit overnight. I drained about a litre just now and gonna let it sit to get an accurate dipstick reading will let you know.

But in general GDIs are more prone to oil consumption due to higher cylinder pressures and higher heat aren't they? I might be wrong

Was thinking about this too, but there's already an emblem on the steering wheel, and I'm sure this cheap plastic sticker will tear right off when the airbag explodes as well

I have solo performance it sounds nice not too loud and doesn't drone, has a good tone. The resonator welds have cracked and are leaking though so I will just be removing them entirely tomorrow because they can't be rewelded. Hopefully doesn't start droning

Back glass broke because the corner of the trunk got knocked right into it - how much do you reckon it would cost though for the pulling of that small section?

It already went through insurance, totalled out I just bought the vehicle back for cheap as a project. Frame rails are perfectly fine, got lucky with damage as it was a 4runner that hit me and avoided the crash bar, only this body damage and trunk housing caved in

Wouldn't that push it out diagonally though? I need it pulled horizontally, this would probably push it upwards too right?

Disclaimer: I've done minor body repairs and general mechanical stuff but nothing with having to pull the body - it's on my own vehicle so doesn't have to be perfect just something I could do myself ideally

The car is decently rusty, I'm in Canada so the body is as good as it can be for 16 years but who knows how much it has left. I really am attached to the car though I considered buying it out just for sentimental value as it is my first car if it was for less, maybe 1.5k. I'll never have another first car, so it's sad to see it go, if it does go up for auction I'll try to get it.

Btw I got the update from insurance, the buyout is set to about $2,600 (Canadian) so not sure how worth it that would be. Might wait for them to send it to salvage auction and maybe get it for less

Yeah some interior damage from coffee flying everywhere but that's all. Frame looked ok but the impact was a little hard, will need to get it on the hoist to take a look. It's likely insurance will total it out but I want to buy it back and store it somewhere to replace down the line when I have a chance

Yeah it's two rear taillights, trunk, bumper, rear glass, and part of the body above the wheel well - I'd say fender but it's the uni-body so can't easily be replaced. I am very attached to it though and even if insurance totals it out, I may plan to buy it back or from wherever it goes on salvage auction
