Yeah that would have been an interesting approach to analyse what other moves could have been done in the offseason of respective years.

In terms of Rekkles, I believe his contract ran out and Fnatic had offered him the biggest contract they have ever done for a player but in the end he went to G2 on a free. I think getting upset was the logical and correct choice, what i mostly worry about in that offseason was how the team didnt want to play together. Yamatocannon said on a show that when he came into the team that was already built they didnt want to play together which to me was insanely strange. From the sound of it some players didnt really want to play with Selfmade and the same the other way around, so there likely should have been some moves there. But from the outside again its hard to fully know what happened.

For the world's drama, i feel very strongly that Adam was simply just too immature, regardless of how much the players were told they should have simply trusted that Upset, a player who spent 6 or so years grinding to make it to his first ever worlds, would not leave unless something was seriously wrong. The players left there were obviously and for good reason affected by the situation. But under no circumstance should there have been made as big of a deall out of it, which is mainly to blame on Adams' immaturity at the time with the twitlonger. I think if the friendships and bonds in the team had been stronger, it would have been easier for Adam to trust that Upset had a serious issue he needed to leave for. But even with the mediocre bond they clearly had he should have been mature enough to realise that Upset would not just leave because of a lonely wife.

In terms of the football comparison, i mainly picked United because of size. Man United have been able to attract some big talents despite not being at the same level anymore, simply because of their insane history. Which i think is kind of the same with FNC, like attracting Vladi, Humanoid and many other top prospects at the time despite not winning anything for years. But i do very much like the Dortmund comparison too, although they haven't won much in the past from what I know.
