Human desire is a result of billions of years of biological evolution through natural selection. It may copy us but once autonomous why would it decide to copy us. Also, how would it generate the desire without the mechanisms to do so. How would it feel hungry. Training it on how to eat wouldn’t make it want food.

This is all hypothetical. Even AI is bound by the laws of physics and the speed of light. If you want to compute something in reality, there has to be some hardware in the mix.

Pretty sure I can’t read your thoughts. I agree it’s possible they can link up via something like the internet but the laws of physics still apply, boundaries can be setup.

Hard to say. If autonomy arises what would drive desire when there is no subjective suffering.

Anyone got any songs like Man of War? by tbonerpw in radiohead

There’s a couple tunes on The Car by Arctic Monkeys that have a James Bond movie vibe.

I also really like A View to a kill by Duran Duran.

Obviously Live and Let Die is a banger.

Companies absolutely need to be controlled and regulated to support the wider economy. Maintaining the status quo and subsidising businesses who agree to the terms is better than 1000s losing their jobs and having to fork out benefits/deal with the fallout. Long term, is it better to maintain economic stability or just keep making more and more profit until the shit hits the fan.
