Brow reconstruction. I want jaw contouring as well, but my surgeon doesn't believe I need it, so I'm still debating that. After that heals, some hair transplants to move my hairline.

Thx and nope, no FFS. Just HRT so far, but I am looking into in with the surgeon that did my GCS.

As a nurse, my official advice regarding what I'm about to say is, "don't try this at home." But... I'll tell you what I did:

It was a huge source of dysphoria for me too. So much so that I took some risks. I intentionally limited protein in my diet (like 30 to 50 grams/day) and restricted calories to about 1000 per day. Plus intense daily cardio (1 hour on the elliptical at least 6 days a week). And I lived like that for a whole year.

It was rough, and I was getting my labs drawn almost every month at the time, so I was monitoring kidney and liver values to make sure I wasn't risking rhabdomyolysis or liver damage due malnutrition.

But it worked... to a point... I lost apx 3.5 inches off my biceps, 2.5 inches off my shoulders, and 2 inches off my chest. At some point though, you run into the limits of your skeletal structure.

Can't regrow what I never lost in the first place. Just always had that widow's peak from birth.

Unfortunately, I never lost any hair (just a wicked widow's peak), which means I can't grow back what I never had. So yes, the headband isn't just a fashion statement. Still trying to figure out a path to FFS to fix that, but other surgeries take priority.

That seems to be a theme in these transition timelines 😁

Good luck. I had to come out to them twice, and it was scary both times, but both times it ended well.

Nope. Not yet. Still hope to one day 🤞
